can someone explain me why Tajiks use Cyryllic Persian alphabet,not Arabic?
Because it was the period of Stalinism. They chose Cyrillic in a show of solidarity with the Soviet Union.
The Soviet authorities wanted to distance Central Asia from influence of Islam.

@@aliman9346 Of course, Farsi is an arabization of the word Parsi. Classical Arabic doesn't have a sound "p".
