@MrKennyg007 : Thank you very much. Well actually It is not a workstation keyboard. It is better known as "Electone", YAMAHA's designation for electronic organ :-D ... also many thanks for visiting my video site!
Alle Achtung! Super gespielt und inkl. das Mittelstück mit der schnellen Piano-Passage - das lassen die meisten weg (inkl. mir auch), weil einfach hammerschwer. Super Performance. Ich muss noch bisschen üben ...
Never heard it before... but I found out Jeff Lorber is kind of musician of the style I love: Jazz Fusion ! Will look and hear around about him and his music. Maybe I will find also a lovely music of his I can play on my Electone :-)
Very NICE! I have an EL90, but the HS8 is a great sounding instrument in the right hands. Did you do your own drum programming for that track? Sounds great!
@1100600341949 : Yes, many years ago. Secret? There is not any secret. Playing Electone is just a matter of training...training...training... and lots of will ! :-D There is no "patent medicine". As for Facebook, no, I currently have no account there. I think I should create one someday.
Vielen Dank für Deinen netten Kommentar :-) Mein Traum ist, daß eines Tages ich beim Spielen von einem Basset Hound begleitet werde. Vielleicht aber würde er meine Konzentration eher vermasseln als helfen....hahahaha.....
Did you mean HS-8 or HX-1? EL-90 is definitely better for daily use. EL-90 is an excellent Electone but unfortunately has no highlight. Go get the EL-90 for a better sound quality and operability. HX-1 is rather for profi than for daily user. HS-8 is inbetween very outdated and is definitely inferior to EL-90 in any disciplines.
Can you tell me how you fade out the audio at the end? I've tried a few things without much success....my EL90 is cabled directly to the camera, so the top volume knob does not function on the audio output jacks. thanks
Yes the master volume doesn't affect the audio output. But the expression pedal does. I often used the expression pedal to control the volume. Alternatively you can also adjust the volume with the video software.
I tried fading the volume with the master volume knob set to half, then reducing the expression volume all the way until it was no longer audible thru the organ speakers. The audio out jacks are cabled directly to the camera's mic input. This did not work. When I watched the video on the computer, I found that when the expression pedal was down to its lowest volume point, the rhythm was still quite loud. I wonder if the rhythm is not controlled by the master volume? I had a similar issue on the Yamaha 415....the master volume did not control the auto bass.... At this point I am waiting for a small, simple audio mixer to arrive. I am willing to try that. However, although this Canon SL1 is brand new, I may be switching to a Canon Vixia HFG20 Camcorder which has fader for the audio and video. The SL1 is also limited in the length of videos.....12 minutes at 4G. The Camcorder does not have this problem.
I just dont know which audio output jack on the electone side you are using. I always use the RCA jacks (with red/white rings). The volume output is always coupled to the expression pedal. As far as I can remember it also refers to my old EL-90 as well. O wait... are you mentioning the rhythm volume? The rhythm volume is not linear to the voice volume, indeed! I sometimes spend one memory for dimming the rhythm volume. I have that "problem" as well. That's why I seldom play fadeout at the end of a song. Alternatively you can fade out the audio volume with the video processing software.
Fast ausschließlich durchs reine Zuhören und anschließend direkt in der Electone programmiert. Zugegebenermaßen hatte ich zu meinen jungen Zeit Drum gespielt; so habe ich's leichter.
you are good electone player but what I think you need to learn some jazzy chords and progressions because in songs like this u realy miss it. But i know how hard is to play electone keys so hat of mate. Also had listen your Stivie Wonder again chords man u need to learn them and it will be original because its nice to see one guy playing as whole group.
