Hi launa n ashlen. Thanks for doing reaction clip for On mv. Appreciate all the effort to react to BTS new title track mv. For me, this is more to storyline build up oriented. Actually I like how this mv produce as it maintain high production value as usual but it add more vibe of transition shoot like movie type of story telling way. Much more polish in term of transition from shoot to shoot, significant pop up image which bring symbolism as usual for bts mv. Overall I like this mv very much. Since this is a reboot album, I would say the appreciation of the start of their journey, contemplating moment to reassure the path of choice which they aim is what they looking for before continuing the next step of life moving forward to the vision they passionate. From no more dream to having dream. Change do occur in life, n the way we project abt what vision we want for our life is subjective with variable. What i perceive from this album is by far the most important thing to me bcs I saw how bts value 7 of them as a whole entity in them. No matter what happen in future , 7 remain as 7 n they r who they r even circumstance change from time to time. I felt strongly for ON mv bcs it's a new hope revolution arise after starting fresh, free from the thorn that chain Jk on his wrist. I missed you guys, you always say what I am thinking. I was also just longing for some good well written fan fiction that takes this and runs with it. I read some theories that use the 7 Jungian archetypes as the 7 members and the plot as the steps to individiation. It made sense. Did you all notice that Jungkook fell down in a forest and Hobi was in a skeleton forest in modern clothes. Made me think JK time traveled a bit when he collapsed. Did you notice that Jin was mourning the bird then when the cage moved immediately looked outside. I think the bird was connected to something else, maybe Jungkook, that makes his concern for the bird in the midst of dead bodies more rational. ALSO WHEN Jimin was dancing suddenly the pride rock was in the background. It reminded me of a fantasy young reader series by Tamora Pierce I read as a kid where different friends have different magic, one had majic spelled by his dance. I think Jimin's dance was majic and that is also why he lead a dance when the pre battle scene at the climax of the song came. Maybe Namjoon wasn't so much Noah as Dr Doolittle. I saw the new movie and his outfit was very similar in cut, it too has a ship wreck and their were only two llamas, everything else was singular. IN THE MOVIE, Dr. Doolittle has ability to talk to animals because he cares, respects and pays so much attention to them that he learns there language. SOUNDS LIKE OUR CRAB LOVING NAMJOON.

All good ideas! My favorite part of any "theories" setup is when there are no official theories and people just start telling stories. So many cool ideas are created! The stress to "get it right" makes the stories worse imo.

It sort of follows BTS 7 year journey and culminates with them on the top of the world... There are soooo many different cultural and movie and even a great number of references to different religions and mythologies included. It really is a masterpiece. I love BTS videos because the complexity of meaning that they imbue each song with gives the audience many ways to interpret a piece of art in any way that has importance to their own individual understanding. As much as I love Bookish Theories explanations and admire her knowledge of the symbolism they use, when I look at it (from the perspective of an environmentalist) I see a post apocalyptic world where climate change has wiped out humankind and the BTS generation needs to start all over again and they are saying they are up to the task... (something like the Snowpiercer in Spring day). But that's jmho. Thank you for the reaction. It's always fun to watch someone see the different levels of meaning that always fill BTS videos.
Okay this is my theory maybe this is where the dark and light timeline meet thus the war and Jungkook is running from dark Taehyung (who was defeated in battle) Jin seeing the dead bird means that Jhope finally killed dark Taehyung making light Taehyung appear and the war is over. Yoongi trains soldiers to fight in the war but now that it's over they're all free. Namjoon finally gets to go back to Jin because he was a double agent. Jimin was in hiding (bc I couldn't find a reason for him.) Then light Taehyung shows up and helps the boys out. In the End Jungkook comes back and gives Jin a signal on where he was and Jin sends the bird telling Jungkook to come back. When he does the group unites as one again.
