I'm Ravenclaw. And I've learned a lot with Harry Potter, here are a few: Your best friends could be someone you never imagined. There's light and dark in everybody Some "friends" will not be loyal until de end Embrace who you are and don't be ashamed Pain and lost not always become in evil
I love this video! You are such an eloquent speaker and this video was a great idea! 🌻I am a Ravenclaw & Harry Potter taught me that love will always be stronger than hate! ✨
Hi Hannah! Quite a recent follower here. I'm a Ravenclaw and I'm eagerly anticipating your recommendation video for my house. The character I most relate to is Hermione and she taught me to use my intelligence to stand up for what's right and never to be afraid of who you are. Happy Potterversary to you! 😁
Nandini Bharadwaj Hiii! 👋🏼 Welcome! Thank you for being here! 💕 The ravenclaw video will be up soon, I promise! I totally understand you with Hermione. I feel the same way about her. I actually made a video about a year ago about the 10 reasons why Hermione is such a great character! It was so much fun to put together 😄
I'm a proud Ravenclaw. A lesson I learned from Luna Lovegood is, that you can express who you really are and that you don't have to hide your personality just to fit into a group. 💙💙💙
This video almost made me cry! I think that Luna Lovegood has taught us to always dare to be ourselves and not bother about what others think about us. I also think Umbridge taught us that it's not always the obvious "bad guy" that hurts us the most, but more likely someone closer to us.
I literally cried watching this video! I always get very emotional around Harry Potter related content. I’ve learnt so much from the Harry Potter series throughout my life that I can’t put it into words. But two things that always come to mind is to be brave and be strong to fight for what you think is right and good and to always believe in yourself, even if others don’t. They’re wrong most of the times, because you have the magic in you!
“If you want to know what a man is like , take a look at the way he treats his inferiors not his equals” I love this quote and Sirius is my favourite character!😭❤️
I'm a Ravenclaw! This was an absolutely beautiful video. Harry Potter taught me, as Hagrid said, that what's coming will come and we just have to meet it when it does. 💙
I'm a proud Gryffindor! I started reading Harry Potter when I was 5 years old (I am now almost 16), and I instantly fell in love with it. Harry Potter made me fall in love with words and I am so grateful for that, because if I hadn't have read that book when I was young, I don't know what I would be doing with my life. The series means so much to me and I'm so proud to have grown up in the generation when Harry Potter was here and leading our lives. The books taught me so much, I can't begin to explain. Your video made me cry a little (Ok, I actually sobbed). I have the same thoughts on the books and I love this video. Well done.
I'm a Ravenclaw.. I love this video.. Such a wonderful tribute to a beautiful series that stole my heart 10 years ago, and that continues to teach us so much.. ❤️⚡️❤️
Legit teared up, I love Harry Potter so much. It means the world to me, this video was amazing! I'm a Gryffindor on Pottermore but a Hufflepuff at heart. HP taught me (among so many other things) the value and importance of friendship, that people have reasons for why they are the way they are, and to stand up for what is right.
Harry Potter started me on an amazing journey. it was the first series I ever read and really enjoyed. it introduced me to the world of books, and even though I've read so many books since then, I'll never forget that magical (literally) experience. it's such a beautiful series and I will continue to read it throughout my life. in the words of Alan Rickman: "When I'm 80 years old and sitting in my rocking chair, I'll be reading Harry Potter. And my family will say to me 'after all this time?' And I'll say 'Always' l think my favorite message from Harry Potter is that, in the end, love conquers all. this series really changed me for the better. Thank you J.K. Rowling for sharing your ideas with the world! This world would be a better place if there were more people willing to do that. We all need to have the confidence to say what's on our minds.
loved the video so much. for as long as I can remember i have been watching Harry Potter . when I grew up I read the books and I loved them so much . Each time I read it , I fell in love it with more and more. Harry Potter taught me friendship and bravery and love have the power to change a person and bring light to the dark . And I am a Hufflepuff. #HPForever
This made me cry, thank you so much for this beautiful video. I'm a Ravenclaw💙 I've learnt from Harry Potter that magic is real, because love and friendship show us that every single day.
Believe it or not, even as I watched the video I could feel tears welling up in my eyes. Harry Potter and those in the Hogwarts world are just immortal and forever influential to us in this world.😭😭Thank you Hannah for making such a fabulous video!
im a hufflepuff & proud!! i've learned how amazing it is to be a hufflepuff! not only in regards to the series, but also the morals the hufflepuff house holds. i'm honestly to honoured to be in this house, it makes me so happy :)
Well I just cried on this video?!! And that made me thinkk about that it's so amazing how a book series and a fictional world can affect (not just) my emotions... it's so powerful! Love your video Hannah, as usual! *Hufflepuff hug 💛*
I'm mostly a Ravenclaw, but there are times my Slytherin side shows XD I enjoyed and agreed with every single one of your points - this series is absolutely everything to me.
Oh my gosh Hannah! I love all of those! I'm a Hufflepuff. Overall I just love the love and friendship that Harry Potter shows, not just within the books, but in the community as well. All of the people that I have met through this series are so loving and caring. It makes my heart happy that these are the people that I get to share a bond with.
I'm a Slytherin! 💚 I've been a Harry Potter fan for as long as I can physically remember, the series is just so special to me. My favorite quote is "happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."
HP is so great, just like this channel :) and I couldn't agree more with all of your points! I'm a Slytherin and the Harry Potter series taught me that there is both light and darkness in all of us but we choose which part we act on and that's what matters most. Also, Order of the Phoenix taught me that it's okay to cry because emotions aren't a sign of weakness as high school experiences had me believe; they are what makes us human as they lead us to empathy and most importantly, love, loyalty and kindness
I'm a slytherin! Harry Potter is so so special to me too- when I read it it honestly feels like I'm entering the world and it's all going on around me, unlike how any other book makes me feel. Hog warts and the characters feel like home and I could honestly reread them constantly and never get sick of them. I love this video so much! 💕
Jude Borowski Yes! They released 4 new editions in the US and UK actually. One for each house! (The UK and US ones are different so it's actually like 8 new editions!)
this was so beautiful Hannah , I am actually crying ,like there are tears falling from my eyes. I used to be a gryffinfor when I was a kid, but older I got I realized I was more of a slytherin/ravenclaw? idk all those house headcanons I read made me question my entire wizarding existence :D
Could see you trying not to tear up during the video while at the same time trying not to cry myself. I'm a Slytherin and these would be some of the lessons I've learnt: 1. Slytherin house taught me that people are not black and white personalities - they're grey and human. 2. (this is one of yours) Dobby taught me that a single act of kindness or being kind and empathetic towards someone can change a person's entire life. 3. Hermione taught me to be proud of my intelligence. 4. Bellatrix Lestrange taught me that love is not an investment - sometimes, the person you love will never love you back as much as you love them. And that's okay. 5. Hagrid showed me what believing in someone truly is. 6. The Weasley family's relationship with Harry and Hermione taught me that family is not defined by blood alone. 7. The HP series as a whole showed me that there will always be a place for me (at Hogwarts) between the pages of a book if I ever need to escape the real world (which happens on a daily basis, not gonna lie).
You made me cry, omg. Also, I'm a hufflepuff and I need a hug now. (Oh, and I love how I can't see The Cursed Child on that shelf. You did a good job hiding it, I'm pleased.)
This video made me so emotional 😭 I'm a Ravenclaw 💙 I just subscribed to your channel and I've been binge watching your videos all day 😅 Harry Potter (as a whole) taught me never to give up and to keep fighting for what I believe even when there are people who want to destroy me and discredit me through out the way.
This is so beautiful I love this so much❤️ this series means so much to me too I’m a Ravenclaw💙 and along with everything you said and more, Harry Potter taught me that with strong friends and family (found or blood) by your side, you can make it through anything
Gryffindor. Harry Potter (or rather, the phenomenon) has taught me that even if you think you don't have anything in common with someone, chances are they are at very least familiar with some form of Harry Potter, which is a great unifier and ice-breaker.
I'm in Ravenclaw. Harry Potter taught me that good wins in the end, that everyone has their own strengths, that even "bad" people can change their ways & that not every "good" person has always been that way. Mistakes can be made but we can use those mistakes to do even more good.
I am a Hufflepuff and my husband is a Gryffindor!! We're like Lupin and Tunks!! :) Harry Potters story touches our lives in so much ways here is a couple of lessons Harry's story has taught me! 1.) Family is what you make it 2.) be proud of the fact that you don't let evil things blacken your heart 3.) have faith in yourself also some of the ones you said!! Happy 20th Harry and Family!!
I'm a proud Slytherin. I have a Harry Potter tattoo. And this video made me want to do my own. There's so many things Harry Potter has taught me. It means the world to me.
I'm a proud Hufflepuff 💛 Harry Potter has taught me so much. Thanks to him I understand the value of friendship. And it's not like I never knew how important this is but The Golden Trio has showed me what friendship can do to a person and how big impact it can have on your life. I also learned there is always hope. And that love is the most powerful magic of all. Ily, hi from Poland 💗
This video made me emotional for some reason 😢 It's so amazing that one book (series) can make the world a special space and can connect so many people ❤️💛💙💚 I'm a Slytherclaw by the way ;) Can't wait for your Ravenclaw recommendations and hope you have a good day!
Hey, have you ever listened to the podcast Harry Potter and the Sacred Text? I just started listening to it but really enjoying it so far, and this video kind of reminded me of it
I teared up and got chills when you said nr. 20. I am not a very emotional person, but you are so right, no matter what, Hogwarts (or Galtvort, the Norwegian name) will always be home. Whenever I wanted to disappear from bullies or tough times as a kid, I would just open up the books and just disappear in the pages.
i love this video so much! Harry Potter has taught me so many lessons. But, most importantly, it has taught me that it is okay to grieve. the ones who love us truly never love us . i'm in Gryffindor too!
I'm in Gryffindor and apart from the things you already mentioned Fred and George taught me that school and academics aren't the most important thing to have success, even if your passions seem silly to most people you can still be successfull and use your own strengths to solve problems your own way and do things nobody else could do.
Im 14 and reading harry potter for the first time and its quickly became one of my favorite series and although im kinda sad that i didn't get to grow up with harry like it seems most people have i am really thankful for these books and not only the impacted theyre having on me but everyone else 🧡
Lesson 15 is so accurately the truth and i think that is a great lesson that you learned from Draco Malfoy and i will preach it as one of my own because its just that great
I loved this video! :') I was 7 or 8 years old when the first Harry Potter book came out. It was the first thing I ever became obsessed with, and I still love it so much til this day.
This video almost made me cry. I just start remembering all of the things these books tought me and how precious and dear they are to my heart 💓 💓 I bought today the Harry potter and the philosopher's stone's 20 years special edition (The Ravenclaw one 'cause that's my house and the Gryffindor one 'cause my favourite characters from the book are Gryffindor). Each character from these series has something to teach you and makes you love them... Love is the greatest power of all and pity those who live without it. Help your friends, have courage, fight evil and wrongdoings, follow your heart and love, love, love... I love how you ended your video - Hogwarts is home and it will always be home 💓 I will always re-read Harry Potter and I know how cliche it sounds but one day my grandkids will see me read Harry Potter and will ask me "after all this time?" and I will say "always"!
It is wonderful to live in a generation where so many people call Hogwarts home. It used to stop my panic attacks as a kid. I especially agree with 10, and it has helped me learn a lot about people.
Harry Potter will be in our hearts. Always. 💜💜

This made me so happy!
Hannah, I love this!! Such a creative and insightful idea

Yay 20 years of Harry Potter!! I can't believe it's taken me so long to actually get into reading the series! Awesome video! 😁
Help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it. This helped me overcome my social anxiety and learn that it is ok to ask for help

Slytherin. My lesson: loyalty is a great gift but it can blind you so choose wisely when you decide to dedicate it to a person or cause.
I'm in Slytherin. Also this is such a unique video and a great way to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Can't believe it has been that long!

All of those 20 reasons gave me chills Hannah🙇. I love u and all of your videos, keep doing you❤❤
AHA totally tested up in this! I cannot believe this series is already 20 years old! Lovely video Hannah! xx
Hufflepuff! Hannah, your videos are amazing , I love your channel , you're such an inspiration❤️🌹
Im 14 and reading harry potter for the first time and its quickly became one of my favorite series and although im kinda sad that i didn't get to grow up with harry like it seems most people have i am really thankful for these books and not only the impacted theyre having on me but everyone else 🧡
This was awesome! I'm in Ravenclaw and I've been eagerly anticipating your Ravenclaw video 💕
I am also in Ravenclaw and I am really excited for your book recommendations.
It is wonderful to live in a generation where so many people call Hogwarts home. It used to stop my panic attacks as a kid. I especially agree with 10, and it has helped me learn a lot about people.
