    Alexander, your orchids are breathtaking. I recently transplanted my only orchid, a 4-year-old gift into bark and it began to fail. I researched the internet for help and decided to put it into water culture like your "baby". I love the look of the glass vase where you can see the roots, however, I felt like there was something missing. When I ran across your videos I thought, "that's it." It seems to me that you have recreated how the phalaenopsis grows in nature. You have provided support for them with the bark and a place for the roots to grow without smothering them with sphagnum moss or peat. I am going to watch all your videos again and take notes. I am looking forward to seeing your potting video and more pictures of your gorgeous orchids.

    Alexander, I always look for your new video. I was like oh my God he is not making any more videos. So happy when I saw your new video. I have them like you. Took your advice and they are doing a really nice. But when you have orchids you have to have a lot of patience for them to bloom. You have the most beautiful orchids on RUclips. Thank you!🌼🌼🌼🙂🙂🙂

    Yes I like using bark but the bark that we get here is rubbish cannot get any large anymore and it holds too much polish for the plants so I have gone onto lava rock which is doing very well. Roots are plump and juicy and no more rot going on

    I'm so pleased to see you post again 🤗 Your orchids are simply amazing. Since viewing one of your earlier videos, I now have 2 orchids in glass and thus far they are doing well. I think the lights you have are much appreciated by your orchids. Please keep on posting and a repot video would be fun too 🙏

    Hi Alex, Thank you for the video! Your orchids are gorgeous!! How often do you change the bark in vases? And when you plant an orchid in a vase, do you add some dry moss to a bark that later turns green? Thank you! 🇺🇸

    Alex, I have never tried the closed system in glass vase. I so wish to experiment on that. My tiny conservatory is cold in winter, will planting in a closed glass system killed them?. You have a wonderful orchid touch with your orchids, almost genius like.Thank you again.

    Hello Alexander. I just discovered your channel last night. Please can you help me? The tip of my orchid was snapped off. I’m devastated. Could you please tell me if it is at all possible to save it? Any advice would be so appreciated. You have the most beautiful orchids I’ve ever seen by the way. I aspire to get mine as big and beautiful as yours. I had no idea they could be so huge! Thanks for your channel!

    I've heard you say before that you use moss from the forest. I was wondering if you also used bark from the forest? I'd be willing to bet that the reason your orchids are so healthy and beautiful is because they have microryza from the forest in their roots. Your orchids are absolutely beautiful! 😍

    I don’t mind like that, but had to take them out too much asshole and too heavy for me and they all go green and then you have to take it all out. Clean it and try and get it back in. Looks very nice. I wish I could.

    • @kayBTR

      No holes in the bottom. He did a good video on how he waters his orchids. He doesn’t let water sit in the bottom of the vase, that would drown the roots.

    • @OrchidsByAlexander
      @OrchidsByAlexander  Год назад +1

      Thanks! I fertilize it the same way as others - i add the cheapest fertilizer almost every time i water it. Honestly, i think that orchids without media need higher concentration and different fertilizers, but i got no time for that.

    • @tinajordan6591

    How do you get a saggy, drooping, leaf to grow straight up? Why do the leafs flop a little right after I repot in glass following your directions?Thank you for all your very informative videos.

    • @kayBTR
      @kayBTR 7 месяцев назад

      Droopy leaves usually mean they are dehydrated. If it is a leaf at the bottom of the stem it may just be naturally dieing as a new leaf at top begins to grow.
