there's a toolbar called visualization (normally at the bottom) . On it you'll find an icon called "Display view frame as specified for each view" it should be orange.
i cant move my views and they are not locked under properties i placed them but i cant move them again and there is no orange boarder around it? is there an option for that to turn on or off?

Hi, how can I have active my view? I know with orange borders means active but how can I get active? Thanks for your videos
If you look at the bottom toolbars,
First toolbar, the 3rd icon will enable or disable the borders around the view. Sometimes it turn off by itself.

The compass is a one time deal. if it goes away, you can't bring it back unless you re-create the view
+MegaMan0013 Yep, M1turbo is right you have insert another view using your solid in order for the compass to return.
