I remember my uncles family. When we got to their house before the parents none of us had the key to get in. So we went to the back yard (this is when I was still young) they decided the best way to get in was to open the bathroom window and squeeze me through. (Worked since I was small and skinny) and opened the back door for us. And when everyone else back they asked us how we got in. XD
Highly recommend. I have one of these, then got lazy and left my cushions out, and now they are sad and faded. Although a custom deck box tricked out with automatic lights when you open the lid and a resin pour lid or whatever craziness these two come up with would be awesome to see!

I can never find anybody for help, and pushing the button, resulting in the P.A. announcement, "Assistance needed in the glass cutting area. Glass cutting area", or "Customer needs help at the hardware desk. Hardware desk." Still leaves you standing there like a lost soul for a quarter-hour or so. Actually, just tell your sponsor to hire some extra help. These corporations are draining America dry with their immense profit margins and tax loopholes. Hire more people!
As a person of small stature I often must ask for assistance from people who are much taller by saying, 'excuse me (sir or madam as the case may be) I am vertically challenged and may I please have your help getting an item on a shelf. The management gets cranky when I climb the shelves.' I somehow manage to find the nicest people every time.

Good work guys, you could look at also installing a larger fold-out shade (either electric or manual). Since we have one, I'm using the outdoor much, much more, and it will also give the Supurrvisor some shade.
Suggestion: It would be good to dig down a little and paint the edges. Then put lighter colored stone like a moat around the patio. Edit: should help with keeping bugs, grass, water away from patio so it can last longer.
I love gardening and I know of some plants that will work for you, moss rose will be the perfect fit cause they don't need to be watered a lot plus you can use hanging planters for them, ferns are also a great plant to put around your yard as a boarder. I'll look up more plants that will be great for you. Actually you can use every type of fern in your yard cause they're beautiful as they grow plus they don't need to be watered as much as other plants

you could do a garden bed surround on it to cover up those sides, have a couple spots with a stepping stone or two where you need to step off.. maybe even a slightly raised bed made out of cedar to compliment the fence with a couple gaps for the stepping stone walkways
I would build cedar box benches for either end of the patio, setting them on either bricks just off the edge of the patio or they could be set on the patio. Make a hinged top so that you can open the top of the benches. Use them to store garden tools & hoses & other yard tools. Line the inside top with something waterproof to keep rain from soaking thru. You could use some treated/sealed plywood & put your cedar planks on top of that. And finish the benches off with some cushions so that guests will have extra seating.

I have purchased some beautiful solar lights from Amazon, and they have transformed my backyard. They have so many options, so if you have a full sun backyard I highly recommend buying some.

But who the hell nails to neighbors fence If that was my fence they would be reported to police for destruction of property because the extra nails allow for more rot in rails and posts quicker (trust me I know, I’ve maintained my wooden fence for 35 years)
Plus they created an area at the top of the fence that is closed from two sides and the bottom - it will colect fallen leafs and other dirt and water during rains. I guess it doesnt snow there, because show would also fill it and then rot the wood...
I think with the concrete edge, you should dig away a small trench around the perimeter, paint down the edge, then fill the trench with stones. So you have a nice border of stones which both accentuates the concrete while softening the transition from concrete to grass.

You could add a paver border around the concrete slab to finish it off, also a nice cedar bench.
