    I am a graduated student. I want to study Biochemistry. It's very cool subject with two dimensions. Chemistry is one of my favorite subjects that can led us to discovery of new medicine.

      @@nimra7569 I'm still going at it! Now in the beginning of my 3rd year. Plan is to complete within 4 years and up until now it still seems feasible! After that, most likely back to industry!

    I'm starting my biochemical degree at the end of July. I'm really excited to one day become a scientist and start to understand how things work, and hopefully build new knowledge that can contribute ;)

      @@letsameliorate1351 You could pick research topics that completely bypass in vivo mammal experiments, but you'd be going over a vast resource including transgenic mice.
      Best case, you could do microbial experimentation, using yeast (or some other fungus), or model bacterium like E.coli.
