It's amazing to read how differently we all learn things. Some of us are good with seeing it, some are good with hearing it, some want a written pattern. Some need all modes of learning. Fascinating!
I taught at a technical school and you are absolutely correct! “Students” learn in a variety of ways. Figuring out how to present a technical subject to a room full of males & females (etc) with a broad age range, widely varying education and vastly different life experience was quite the challenge. 😂
Watching you do the crocheting with the counts up in the corner is so incredibly helpful. Thank you! It's really challenging for me to understand patterns, but with your videos I feel like I can try new things. ❤🙋🏽♀️
Putting the chain count as it is actually helps me. Then I can easily see that it is 2+2+2+1 or 5 +5+5+3 or whatever really makes it easier for me. Thanks for doing it that way.
Another Beautiful Stitch ❣️ I will use this stitch pattern for my Crochet Queen Squares Blanket.I need a total of 12.A couple more & I then border the squares with SC & join them with the zig zag join & a simple border for the whole blanket ❣️🥰
Im going to try this, i do learn better with transcript but at least you put it up above and in settings i can slow speed down as needed, ty for taking time to share with us, love the yarn colors too ❤
😮 wow! What an awesome pattern stitch i cannot wait to use it when i start my next blanket, i also have that colour wool, been waiting for a beautiful pattern like this, ty for sharing, i have also shatmred to pinterest and my facebook page 😊😊xxx
Stunning! Thanks for sharing this. I will try it out. Do you mind sharing the brand and colorway of the yarn you are using. It’s so beautiful, I want to see if I can find it for sale near me.
You're my favorite stitch pattern channel. I love making blankets with various stitches all incorporated. Thanks for sharing! I've seen ones from you that seem to have been forgotten in the States.
By doing a YO then a YU on a DC, it causes the bottom legs of the stitches to be crossed instead of straight. DC should be 4 YOs. There is a great video by Edie Eckman that shows you how the stitches look different.
Some people are just mean. If you feel you need to see the end product first do what i do. Tap on the video and use the scroll slide on the bottom to see the result before you like or save the video. Then slide back to watch it or move on. If you aren't experience enough to guess what she's using you're not good enough to realize you can do this pattern with any size yarn or needle you like. That's probably the point. Get some serenity in your life and stop being so passive aggressive for no reason.
I noticed that myself. I domt see a change in stitch structure, and hard to tell for surewith a 2.5 from watching her stitch, but I think the DC is a little shorter.
I have a habit of doing yarn under on the first part of my stitches. I don't know if there is always a visual difference with the finished work, but I did notice a visual difference when I did it while doing the waistcoat stitch. The waistcoat design was not as clear/dileniated. I like doing yarn under with amigurumi because yarn under makes tighter stitches. It also is more visually appealing when doing different colored stripes.... the color break is sharper.
I’m an experienced crocheter…even at that, a lot of go -figure replay replay left out…I feel bad for anybody who would have taken it up & got frustrated.
It's an interesting stitch alright. Did you come up with it on your own? Btw, this comment section is the best - so many cry babies moaning about first world problems 😂😂😂.
I watched her make the chain multiple times, and the total always came to 38. In the top left corne, it shows 6+6+6....+3 = 21. Doesn't make any sense. Please explain, thank you.
I noticed this as well. It appears as though as long as you have a chain that will work multiples of 5 plus 3 then you should have the right amount. If you notice her first row, she has chains left when she turns. I think she just wants us to get the pattern down and it will work as long as you have enough for 5 + 3. If that makes sense. I’m going to try it this way at least. We’ll see. Good luck. ✌🏻🤍🤞🏽
I wish you would speak and explain what it is you're doing. I love the pattern, but I don't think i will tackle it. I don't think I can do it "on my own." Without verbal step by step explanation I feel like I am "going solo". I need an instructor to teach me in the conventional way. 😮 (I apologise for my comment if you are unable to speak)
The crafter does not speak English. There are instructions in the upper left of the screen. Perhaps slowing the video would help you as it does me. Use the settings wheel to slow the playback speed.
I used to think the verbal explanations were essential too. But I didn’t want to limit myself so I gave it a try. I can watch tutorials in any language now with 100% success rate. I just slow the video and pay close attention.
Why do people always use such a short beginning tail end ??its best to have it longer to be able to work in in so it doesn’t come out at a later time when in use some people who receive it as gift and don’t know how to crochet might just cut it off then their article unravels 🤔🤔🥰
I like it! ❤ Good tutorial. Easy to understand even without talking. Some just talk way too much about nothing!! Get so tired... Thank you! 🙏
I soooo agree.

I agree see it first i just drag it to end to see it done
I love your patterns and how you explain everything. Thanks a lot for job.
Thanks for watching!
Love the color combination ❤
Really like this pattern. The yarn is fun, too!
This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you!!

Can you please share what yarn she is using ?? Thank you
Beautiful!
This is gorgeous ❤
lovely
You should show a picture of the completed pattern first so we don't have to watch the whole video to see if we want to do this.
Just fast forward to the end lol that’s what I did
Or you could just slide the video button over to the right to see the end... 😑
Use the fast forward function on the ‘play’ bar.
You don't have to watch the whole video...just skip to the end😊
This is the idea
Beautiful
Beautiful ❤
Very nice... bit of a yarn eater though, I would imagine!
Thank you for sharing a uniquely pretty design. The pattern is gorgeous and the yarn compliments this design. What is the brand name of this yarn?
Thank you!
Stunning! Thanks for sharing this. I will try it out. Do you mind sharing the brand and colorway of the yarn you are using. It’s so beautiful, I want to see if I can find it for sale near me.
Yes this!!!!
Please tell us from which company this yarn was bought! It is beautiful for a baby blanket!
That’s because you make the project as big or as little as you choose.
Its beautiful pattern i have a question though did u skip some at the end ??
Excellent tutorial of this pattern. Thank you for sharing
Read the upper left corner. She shows the hook size. I'm sure you can use any hook and yarn . Written pattern and visual tutorial. ❤
I think it's going to be lovely but I'd like to know the yarn and hook size you use
If using this stitch for an afghan, what border do you suggest?
You're my favorite stitch pattern channel. I love making blankets with various stitches all incorporated. Thanks for sharing! I've seen ones from you that seem to have been forgotten in the States.
Thank you so much
What yarn brand and color is this please?
Gorgeous.
What yarn did you use?
Absolutely beautiful 😱can’t wait to go for it !, what type of yarn and hook size?

Para un suerte como empiezo gracias 😊

Really really pretty. Thank you.
I missed the type of yarn used ?
what’s the yarn? that’s extremely important! thank you!
Are you alternating yarn overs and yarn under? Does it make a difference in the results?
I noticed that myself. I domt see a change in stitch structure, and hard to tell for surewith a 2.5 from watching her stitch, but I think the DC is a little shorter.

Does any one know the yarn color/ brand? Georgous
This is Beautiful! What type of yarn are you using and what size hook? Sorry I did not catch it in the video.
She didn't say, never does. You can use what ever yarn and hook size you want to.
@@laattardo 2.5mm hook, it's on the screen at the start of the video.
I’m an experienced crocheter…even at that, a lot of go -figure replay replay left out…I feel bad for anybody who would have taken it up & got frustrated.

What would you use this stitch for? Handbag, headband,
Its pretty but the measurements don't add up. I tried multiple times and i always ended up with extra chains or not enough chains
Pretty but I was expecting something more than dc’s and clusters for a “masterpiece”.
I'm completely lost. 😥

@@ViKee010, no... The first row is 5dc + skip 1= 6. At the end she crochets 3dc.
Who's video is this?
I wish you would put a picture of the final result first.
Just fast forward till the end. I determine if interested and start from beginning. I do this all the time. No offense is meant to crocheter.
@ I do that. I just prefer the ones that show the end result first. It catches my attention more. No offense meant.

Totally understand.
PRETTY DESIGN BUT WILL CONSUME HELL LOT OF YARN.

It's beautiful, but you don't tell people what yarn you're using or what hook size. Sorta weird. So I'm not watching that much for that reason.
Selber probieren 😊
Any yarn and hook size can be used. She's here to teach stitch patterns that can be used in a wide range of projects. It's not weird really.
She is using size 2.5mm hook and looks like a 3 or a DK yarn, hope that helps
0:12 at top left corner is the hook size
Probably because any yarn or hook size will work. She’s just showing the stitch lol
You need to tell what you're doing, just showing is not helpful.
Upper left corner. Written what to do.

I always leave a long tail too.
Don’t matter how you do it, it seems to be wrong
I rather you speak and no music in the background as it is super annoying
