Should do a video showing the setup and adjustment of stroke on the JCI actuators on the various valve bodies. Then I could share that with techs calling me to help troubleshoot their new actuator that isn't adjusted right and won't open fully.

1967 School. We have hot & cold decks, heating & cooling coils in fan room on 3rd Fl. But the 1st Fl never gets the cooling or heating. Is this mainly because the VAVs in the ceilings are bad, the stats are bad, the water temps are not enough, the water circulation is not enough, or the fan rooms duct system is bad? We hosed down the coils to clean them. We block the outside air because the dampers leak bad. We try taking the stat out and connecting the lines for max cooling or plug the line for max heat. Change filters for good air circ. Water temp to coils 110-120 in winter not enough.

Hey hi. I have a normal cast boiler with radiant floor heat. I want to run the boiler at 180 temp and the floor loop at 125 temp. So i installed a mixing valve on supply. I pipped the return to cold, the supply from boiler to hot and the supply to floor loop to mix. It will not work at all. Can you please help on why. I currently had to take out mixing valve and turn boiler down to 14o temp until I get this right. Thanks so much
