I have a question in regards to the mixing valve? Isn't port AB going against the flow of the return pipe?
The illustration is referring to a diverting valve and not a mixing valve. In this case, a single source is diverted in either of two directions.A mixing valve takes two inputs and modulates their flow rate into a single output
