At least, Nanako realize that Kaito did not mean what he say back at HS and was getting bullied by those three idiots.

Gotta respect Endo for accepting rejection calmly and even giving advice to Kaito about his problems. Yeah, getting rejected doesn't mean the end of the world. Sometimes, circumstances just become apparent for two people not being able to get together. It's just things in life.
Ijimaru though, he's just pathetic. He's the one who called Sasamori lame back in high school, and now he claimed that he knew that Sasamori going to be hot and trying to hit on her. Who's the lame one now?

It was nice how maturely Endo took the rejection and even helped encourage him to find the girl he still had a crush on and tell her how he feels. Also it is neat that Sasamori didn't take what Kaito said to heart because she saw he was being pressured by the other guys in the classroom kind shows she was really mature for her age. Glad Endo stayed friends with them and found someone later.

Really it’s was very satisfying that Ijmaru💛😡 and his goons got what was coming to her since they were just jealous since they did have someone to love them it’s nice Endo🤎 was able to bring Kaito🤎 & Nanako🩶 back together as a loving couple💘 as well as finding herself a nice guy
Yeah! It’s seems that Ijimaru and his friends hadn’t changed at all😡 because he’s still trying to get with Nanako💔 after trying breaking up Kaito💔. Later, Kaito x Nanako would finally become a beautiful happy couple❤️💙💍.
I was expecting comments like "if you like her why would you say she's not your type" or "she should just say that she likes him", I guess none of those peeps are here.
Also, I watched a very similar story but it was the guy hearing her crush pressured that "he's not my type", but harsh comments are directed to the woman for still chasing him.
Double standards 🤷
I think the main difference is the narrative, not the standard. In this one, we watch the MC chase after the love interest, we see why he stops, and we hear his regret. So it feels more complete.
However, when it's the love interest who does the rejection, we hear her say "Wait, let me explain" and cut to the protagonist running away. We are given suspense without a conclusion, which is frustrating....
I'm with OP on this one. A lot of comments are often harsh towards women, but always find excuses for men. That's pretty exhausting.

You also find these kind of double standards a lot in stories where the MC fakes his relationship with another girl to make his crush jealous. But if it's the FMC doing the same, oh lord. Btw, I hate either of these videos.
As for this video, it doesn't matter if he was being pressured or not. He hurt the person he loved by being insincere. He's lucky she still took him. The only difference is that these jackasses did this on purpose for malicious reasons unlike the other girls in these kind of stories.

I hate people who force me if I like that person or not. It's kinda pressuring. That's why I would say it directly to that person about what I feel. The same thing as what other classmates do towards Tomoyama.
personally, if I was MC then I'd would be ashamed and embarrassed of myself for giving in to pressure; unlike the MC, I would rather stay away since there is no way I can take back those words I said. Call me a coward or a chicken but once I say something, there is no way I can take that back.
It sucks when they use it maliciously, but I have seen a couple mangas where the friend used this tactic to get the MC to realize that he actually likes her in that way (typically when they overthink)
I actually remember one cute one where the MC bottled up his feelings trying to do what's best for his love interest. However, the feelings started to eat away at him, so his best friend used this tactic to get him to unload all that stress. The MC confessed and the friend opened the classroom door to show that the love interest was waiting, having been the most worried about him.

Well at least we know that both MC and FMC didn't meant that and just to deter those three idiots, also kudos to Endo-san for helping out our MC despite rejecting her love confession and hopefully she'll find a man who can genuinely love her back.

Objectively speaking--and as expected of a "Sekai No Fushigi" Female Lead--Nanako is a good-looking girl even when not trying; if she's not pretty, what kind of girl would be?🙄
I'm glad Kaito managed to make up with Nanako and got together, no thanks to Ijimaru and his friends whose teasing tore the two apart for years.
I hope for the best for Endo too. She is an example of how to properly handle rejections, unlike many villainous female characters in the "Sekai no Fushigi" videoes. If a sequel happens, I hope we can see how Endo meets her true love that was mention near the end. ✊

Ughhh, again? I really wish this type of antagonist got it worse. Why do the writer always go soft on them? Should’ve got his Karma. He was let off too easy. Kinda disappointed for that, same as previous story.
This type of writer didn’t hold back when they made MC suffer but can’t even give the same energy back when they wrap it up with the antagonist. Most of the time, they went soft on the antagonist like he never do sh!tty things.

Is it kinda dark that I kinda wish mc lost both of them? I've always thought saying something you don't mean is stupid. Specifically I dislike this trope of people being embarrassed they liked someone. She wasn't unattractive or "plain" how they put it in these stories (I hate that trope too) she was just kind of quiet. He wasn't trying to protect her from his bullies or anything either. I was kinda hoping she'd show up with a husband at the reunion and be selfish trying to get with the friend but she leaves him for trying to have her as his second choice. I just really dislike people that can't be honest.
Another would be decent story ruined by the hapless 12 year old in the body of a 25 year old… no matter how many I read or listen to I’ll just never understand why they write their characters like this.. just spineless, self deprecating wimps..
