Understanding the patient experience of anaemia in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
Anaemia in chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a condition characterised by low haemoglobin levels. AstraZeneca commissioned a survey of CKD patients in the US and China to understand the emotional and physical impacts of anaemia in CKD from the patients’ perspective.
The survey explores CKD patients’ awareness and knowledge of anaemia in CKD, its associated risks, and whether they can connect their symptoms to the condition itself.
