That Dad is a good Father. He loves his boy, he knows dreams can turn out to be Nightmares but they can take a toll on the mind, body, and soul that cannot be undone. His Dad wanted to protect him. Just like any kid and parent would want.
For real. Honestly the movie is a good movie for entertainment but it‘s not a good one for motorsports fans. The mistakes in so many scenes concerning tracks and layouts are just so stupid… first this scene, then the Nordschleife crash where he seems to be going through Hatzenbach and Hocheichen 5 times over in complete random order before he reaches Flugplatz where the rollover happens and thirdly the final corner at Le Mans in the LMP where the Ford chicanes for some reason unbeknownst to man have been replaced with the final turn of the Hungaroring😂
@@ClonesGone_ I mean if you've ever played GT7 before you'd know this was against the AI on easy difficulty. No way is he passing 19 cars with those crappy lines.

We definitely need more motorsport films that showcase the true spirit of the sport. I'm not sure if you've heard of Alivehoon, but that movie is worth watching.
@@MiyaTakamuraYes. I like the things they used for the drifting aspect. Cars: All cars in the movie are real-world drift cars, as in, none of them were built and specced to drift just for the movie as movie cars, but they were already being used for drifting long before the movie came to be. Drivers: Real-world drifters, drivers that've spent more time going sideways than any other driver in the world. CGI: There is none and they made sure they do it that way. To my slight surprise, there are still people who don't know cars can drift.
I know this is a movie but as a competitive driver i can tell that performing like he did is impossible with 0 training even if you have everything memorized you need to warm up your brain again for a lap or 2. Not to mention he was faster on a straight line than the other cars that had the same specs. I find it somewhat cringe tbh
Yeah, to make that many overtakes in 10 laps, with identical cars, against skilled opponents, seems too unrealistic. I think the real story was that he spent hours each day trying to better his time in a time trial. That sounds like it'd play well into a parents' skepticism about whether this was a good, healthy use of his time.

This movie was actually a shit show. I mean i enjoyed the story and all but the actuall movie was very bad. 1:00 when jann begins his race he moves the steeriing wheel like a lunatic and the car is straight. They should have made everything more realistic
