One of the few perfect films ever made. I've watched it 100+ times and it never gets old.
Yes, I agree. Acting, script, direction - sheer perfection.
The mirror he returned to his boss is how Jack Lemon finds out his boss is sleeping with the woman he has a crush on. Brilliant.
You sound lonely I feel sorry for you. NBC commented this
Too
Lemmon not Lemon
makes me look the way I feel
So sad that many people that can be hurt by a very self-centered and selfish person. This is a classic film, that still has relevance even now.
2:39-2:44 That’s his whole life, right there.
This is one of the best scenes. The secretary Ms. Olsen (I momentarily forget her real name) was a great actress.
That was the wonderful Edie Adams.
One of the finest masterpiece cinema ever produced ❤❤❤watched many times
One of my favorite movies--perfect from beginning to end! This particular scene was filmed 12.23.59 and everyone was in a holiday mood, so Wilder was able to film it in one take. He said, "I wish it were always this easy!"
One of my very favorite movies and definitely my favorite comedy. Just about perfect. I especially love the goofy and perfectly hilarious performance by Hope Holiday. She should have won the supporting Oscar!
My all time favorite movie ...I was 7 when it came out .....
They were both so cute back then. Shirley is still alive. She was in Only Murders in the Building. Shes 88. Love her!
