Repl sucks, I tried Daki today and I love it. Free 24/7 limited plan and you can also upgrade. Limited plan has 512 ram and 1gb storage, sounds pretty good to me. Now all there is left is to code....this part is so damn hard.

As a discord bot dev (python), this tutorial is good if you're going to just joke around with the bot (good practice) but once you want to tell everyone how your bot is good and tryna verify it, don't. First mistake is that bot is running on replit and using uptime to host it. There are no free hosters, even replit. Replit is insecure about your information bla bla bla can't explain everything in a yt comment. Second of all, I didn't see well but ig bot has to use some of the json files (they are files, NOT DATABASES), I see the bot uses MongoDb as well which is a decent database but I would really recommend SQL. It's much much better. For the end, I just wna say that this is not a hating comment, I'm just trying to help and not getting ur things to mess up. Good tutorial and 1 more thing, you have to check app.commands on dev.discord as well if you want to use slash commands 👍

oracle cloud kinda is free... a bit overkill for starters but really stable once you get things set up.
