🇯🇵 As a native japanese, please let me explain about relation between Japanese culture and these songs, William Tell Overture and Orpheus in the Underworld.
These are most famous songs among Japanese because almost all Japanese school use these songs at sports festival in Elementary school in Japan.
Usually these songs are used at foot race or something with athletic race.
I guess this is why Anime studio chose these songs at that moment.

There is a beautiful Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cartoon that is entirely based on the William Tell overture, and its striking similarities with the song Turkey in the Straw, with really hilarious effects. The cartoon title is "The Band Concert" and it is available online

Dandadan is easily one of my favourite manga of all time. The reason why it’s so bat shit crazy is because the author was experiencing art block since his other works were rejected by Shonen Jump, but after he got some encouragement from the author of Spy x Family to just draw freely he started drawing whatever he wanted and eventually created Dandadan. So Dandadan is basically just a guy writing whatever he wants and I love it.
I believe both of them worked with the creator of Chainsaw Man as his assistants right?

My favorite part of that whole sequence was that they didn't even really attack each other all that much. It was truly a game of tag. It's such a cool and intelligent fight scene that strays from the typical shounen battle formula of guys punching each other to death
fun fact: the entire classical music section is almost entirely orignially directed, in the manga that 2 minute scene was only 2 pages long. The directing in this anime is geuinely incredible

With that reveal at the end, I wonder if Turbo Granny was only attacking dudes who entered that tunnel, but not girls.
Also, the moment she felt imminent SA in the air (ep 1), she phoned in immediately, cuz there were bound to be some weenies to gobble there. I like this brand of insanity. In a way, it's a lot *LIKE* Chainsawman - batshit crazy, but on the surface. There's something very human under that surface and I think I'm into that a lot lately. This type of stories, I mean.

Turbo Granny would probably attack both women and men for entering the tunnel because that would be an act of mocking, as said by Granny Seiko.
Doesn't stop her from saving Momo from being SA-ed first before killing her for making it a game with Okarun to enter the tunnel. Two things can happen at once since they aren't mutually exclusive.

Just a clarification, while they were eating crab after the battle, it wasn't the actual crab they'd battled. A lot of people thought the same so it's a common misconception from the videos I've seen, but the crab they raced WAS actually the location bound spirit, which was made up of all of those murdered girls. When we saw them floating and disappearing at the end, that was the spirit itself-the crab-fading from this world, into the afterlife, presumably. So, there was no body of the crab left after; we've seen it come apart and fade away already.
So presumably, Momo and Granny just craved some crab after all that and went and got some 😂

The only other project I've seen from Studio Saru was the Scott Pilgrim Anime.
I loved what they did there but oh my god the feats of animation they showed this episode had me speechless. That entire team deserves all the praise.

They made devilman crybaby, soo I expected some quality but THEY COMPLETELY HIT THE BALL TO OUTER SPACE (being a reader since vol 1 came out, I can't feel happy enough, I smile cheek to cheek while watching it)

@@aaronharding1524 Okay sure it wasn't amazing, but he really means that if the show was animated correctly, like with actual time for the animators to do their work as they didn't get an actual well balanced time slot to finish the show, (which is why the main reason the 1st Ep is the only actually good one) it would actually be a good show.
If you read the manga and it's good but the animated adaptation isn't, well it just means that the adaptors did something wrong as the manga from what I've heard is amazing.
You could maybe look up the rest of Junji Ito's works to see some amazing art and ideas too just to get a feel for what his art Actually looks like. Saying that the show's plot and the animation are the same thing sounds kind of dumb personally, but still having bad animation like that can really drag down good ideas. I'm mainly saying here that animation and plot balance each other rather than 1 being more important in that instance.

The best thing is that DanDaDan's manga is written and drawn the way, that you read it almost like you were binge watching couple of anime episodes. It so packed with action that you just turning page after page. I've read quite a number of mangas and I don't recall any that would have the same pacing with ideal amount of "OMFG"/explanation/back story moments and packed, I mean PACKED, with action and humor.
Btw. you were asking if it will be the same every week. Yes. It will. And it gets better and wilder with every arc.
