I had a 1978 GS 550 Suzuki it was my first bike. Bought it new I think I payed about $2400 for it out the door. I added a fairing and small hard bags Lockhart tailpiece, Lockhart oil cooler and cruise control. Crash guards. $2000 of accessories. Had bike for about 5 years and sold it. I miss that bike sometimes. I now have a 2003 1200C sportsterXL. Probably keep that even after I can’t ride it anymore.
Look up the bike specs online. The power needs to be under 47kw for it to be legal with the A2 license. This bike should be just under so it should be fine. If a bike you’re looking at is in between 47kw and 94kw in power then you can always put a restrictor kit to limit the power making it legal on an A2!

Fixing up a true barn find right now. Nice to see you did not hack the sub-frame off.
Great to see this bike! I had the exact same bike from 1978 to 1993. It was an awesome bike and I wish I still had it.
