FOB has aged like fine wine. There’s something for everybody here. Pop punk,80’s vibes, the perfect break up song, a little bit of Micheal Jackson and so much more. It gives me some Infinity/folie vibes but on such a more somber and mature level. Catchy and beaks my heart 10/10
Dang, you hit the nail on the head. "they aged like fine wine", exactly!! 💯 The measure of art is how it stands the test of time... and they truly are amazing! I am proud to be a FOB fan for the past 18 years!
@@Amira-qk3td Hi there! Sorry if I came across like I dont love those songs. I just feel like this album is more enjoyable as a whole. I was also thinking about a quote from Joe, where he talked about making music not searching for the arena hit & stuff, more guitar driven... so when I finally heard SMFS I thought of those things he said. After being listening to it for a while I have to say that many of the songs are growing on me and its insane how much more I like the album every day. I also am from the group who loved Mania. It got me back into being a full time Fob fan hahaha Have a good one! And f'ck people who dont let others enjoy what they like
I love that these guys are still happy to be super active, doing interviews everywhere, doing all the social media stuff, all the fan interactions. They really are going full out being as active as they possibly can. It's super rewarding to be a Fall Out Boy fan. I wish Panic! at the Disco didn't die a horrible death with Brendon falling out of love with all this stuff. But it's incredibly refreshing to now see a band that clearly has massive love for the art of the whole industry 🙌💖
Sophie has such a great, warm energy and really enjoyed this interview a lot. Stardust is definitely one of my top 3 FOB albums of all time and perhaps their best post-hiatus release yet.
sophie is an amazing interviewer, gotta give her her props cuz the couple times i’ve seen her talk in podcasts/interviews i’ve noticed compared to everyone else she’s asking the genuine & unique questions ! even the light-hearted ones are different and aren’t the same as every other interview that’s been going around lately where they give the same answers to questions bc it’s all they’ve been asked lol. good to see them actually enjoying themselves while answering too lol
It’s an amazing album and all four of you guys (plus your team) should be proud of yourself! I am absolutely addicted to What A Time To Be Alive, So Good Right Now, and Flu Game, and my boyfriends personal favorite is I Am My Own Muse- he’s only a fan cause I am. He actually ASKED me to play it for him. Been with you boys since 2001: when you guys got back together, it saved my life. Keep being awesome! ❤🤘🏻😄
17:41 wow hes really really adhd huh. like i know he talks about it quite a bit but sometimes it just hits u that not everyone goes on a very tangential ramble about a fun fact that they kind of assume is common knowledge

the record is one of the greatest so far, but saying it's more somber and mature than infinity on high and folie a deux is falling on your ass.

It’s a great album. Its not chasing the arena hit, not the colourfull lightshow. Just a well crafted record. I value it a lot for that
But we love the arena hits- nothing wrong with making fun music for sports arenas I think they did a great job delivering us those hits

This album was absolutely incredible and wattba was the most patrick stump song ever tbh lol
The entire thing gives me pure soul punk vibes, which is surreal in a fall out boy song but I can't complain about it either - it's just really cool
this is a contender for best fob album. just outstanding.

This album is truly a masterpiece.
She was a great interviewer! Liked her questions.

At first I thought Andy was being stand offish but honestly can relate to the anxiety and discomfort, can't imagine doing several of these in 1 day
I think he’s just a shy guy tbh
Personally i think there’s a chance he could be neurodivergent
@@n30n__ra1n pretty sure the whole band is bestie 💓

Andy is just along for the ride
Andy is so cute!!!
Have been listening to FOB for nearly 20 years and I think this might be their best album. It’s a masterpiece ✨👌♥️
Fall Out Boy don’t make albums, they make musical poetry and write stories! 😊❤️👌🏻
I'm speechless. All I can say everything is amazing

I only want Sophie K, Elvis Duran, and Zach Sang to interview FOB for the rest of time
add zane lowe & those are my 4 favorite interviewers that have ever interviewed fob
11:16 thank you
These guys are geniuses! I love the new album and I LOVE listening to their process! It's so interesting
It's an amazing album ❤
Love the genuine interview interactions!
greta album from the boys. Can feel the love put into it.Awesome interview! Thanks for this
I stand by Young and Menace 😂
When he said that I was like oh Patrick lol. ( I only listen to it when they play it live )
😂😂😂
It's actually such a good song lol, sometimes it's the only thing that scratches that itch
Amazing Album!! It's just a Masterpiece!
Its just okay
They have grown up, they are nice
Love the album. Love the band
It’s a really good album
Yass Labyrinth reference 🎉
17:56 ugh they really are nerds😭 the jeff lemire rep is so valid
Feels less f o b and more Patrick solo stuff
Joe😢
How many fckn times does Patrick say "you know"
Except for the weird speeches in between a few of the songs, the album is great.
I love that they are able to admit that Mania is terrible.
They are not "Emo".
They are the definition of emo. You decide if a band is emo by determining how similar they are to FOB.
