I'm sure they're probably just tired of everyone talking about it at this point but HOW are we gonna get through a whole interview about music videos without talking about Sixteen Candles
They've talked about why they're not doing a sequel to 16 candles before. It was expensive and it has been way too long, might not be as interesting now
YES! benedict cumberbatch in desolation of smaug was definitely my first thought when i saw joe moving around in the mo-cap suit lmao he nailed it for sure
This new album means so much to me. I'm a musician, too. And I've felt like giving up, but the theme of the new album has inspired me to keep going. Like, maybe it all amounts to nothing, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do it.
this album resonates so deeply with me. personally, i like that the album title is like a two in one thing. so much for that great feeling that you temporarily feel when you've finally gotten yourself in a better place, but its ripped out beneath you. HOWEVER, "for" is in parentheses, meaning that you can choose to skip that over sometimes. so you get So Much Stardust. to me, its basically about that in between state where things are so much better than they used to be, but you still have a Lot wrong with you and get into depressive spirals every now and then. I also love the idea of Stardust referencing how humans have some of the same materials as stars within us, because that sorta puts into perspective of this grandiose thing you have within you that turns out to not be what carries through, and that it doesnt make you inherently special. That it doesn't help you function like a healthy human being. So much for what was supposed to be an amazing and romanticized quality instilled within you. anyways, theres a million ways you can look at it and I genuinely think its a fucking amazing album title.
For my 63rd yes 63rd my son has got me a ticket to see you in London on the 3rd November 23. I love you guys my son grew up to your music and I’ve always wanted to see you. So excited to see you all on the 3rd. Won’t mind if I get a mention lol xx
FOB isn't just a great band, and are cool actors, but are actually just fun and nice people. I hate how other musicians/ celebs act so conceited but I get excited to hear from these guys.
im big on their earlier work so going into this album i was a little iffy just bevause ab/ap and mania had been ao different from their earlier albums, but sm(f)s waa insanely good. i think it was a peefect balance between the classic fall out boy pre hiatus sound and their newer more mature sound. it kinda sounds weird but so much (for) stardust is everything pray for the wicked tried to be tbh
I'm always surprised by how soft and gentle Andy is, given how badass he looks and how incredible he is at the drums
I'm sure they're probably just tired of everyone talking about it at this point but HOW are we gonna get through a whole interview about music videos without talking about Sixteen Candles
I think it’s cuz they really don’t like that video

"I turn around and Andys just got like 30 arms and destroys it"

Andy Hurley is so underrated. GREAT drummer.
YES! benedict cumberbatch in desolation of smaug was definitely my first thought when i saw joe moving around in the mo-cap suit lmao he nailed it for sure
See I immediately thought Andy Serkis as Smeagol/Gollum and I think Andy (drummer not Serkis) thought too! Hence the confusion.
@@noodles_sauce the only reason i didn’t think of gollum is bc the deep grumbly voice he put on lol … screamed dragon to me
The entirety of The Youngblood Chronicles should count as one video.
whenever andy talks i feel like i’m listening to a podcast about art criticism
I love you, Nerd Patrick.
the fact that the last 3 mins of the video is just fob referencing movies is so on brand 😭
Aw andy is EVERYTHING and this album so means something personal to me and I will love it forever

It's funny how they're like nerd rock stars.

He just said we're all former stars 😂🤦♂️ Someone has been listening to NDT a little too much
I just wish they vould've rode the 'take this to your grave' era for just one record longer.
