  • Swing Street is a song that I composed in memory of 52nd St., New York City in the 1940s and 1950s. unfortunately it’s not my own memory because I wasn’t alive at the time, or perhaps I was in a different reincarnation.
It must’ve been an exciting place to be not only a musician, but someone looking for some entertainment in New York City. You can hear the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk and all the greats that would play their awesome music into the wee hours of the night .
It must’ve been great to bar hop and hear all that great music on one street.
     Alan J Palmer - piano
    Phil C Bowler - Bass
    Beaver Bausch- drums and cymbals
    Graham Bruce - trumpet
    Ken barry - tenor saxophone
    Matt Criscuolo- alto saxophone
Recorded on 2 inch analog tape in 2001 at carriage House Studios, stamford, CT

Late to the party. And it sounds like one hell of a party. Love the feel and the environment it creates. Shows me a side of Matt that I had not heard before. You tube doesn't send me notifications anymore. What a surprise. Hope you and yours are doing fine. Stay safe. Love you more than family.

Wow, Matt!! Great composition, I love that head! And the arrangement! I'm sorry I haven't been in touch, my health has been really bad, but I'm still here! I just thought of you a few minutes ago so I did a RUclips search and this song came up 1st. Man, that was New York slick all the way, brother! The solos were all top notch and man, I love your tone! Super badass! I'll try to stay in touch more often, I've been pretty overwhelmed with stuff but starting to get my head above water a little now. So cool✌️😎
