    Ok Gurl, I have powders on the way. But I got a liquid soap color. I would eventually like to sell some. But I will let you know how it turns out. I have ordered colors from everywhere they are always dull. I have found a few that I can tweak and come out pretty good. But I just love how colorful yours are and when you demonstrate the tubs is never a freaky color lol :)

    Can I also do this but instead of liquid food coloring i bloom dyes and then add them to baking soda? Or will the end result be sensitive to light and fade over time?

    Love your mica collection 😍 food coloring isn't approved for bath and body products if selling just FYI

      Thanks hun! 10 years ago I purchased a large 500$ set bc I was going to sell them in little pots for eye shadow... never got around to doing that! lol that’s why I have so many. And, thanks for the heads up on the food coloring. But, I don’t sell the things I make on the tutorials. I end up just using it or giving the stuff away! However, now that you got me thinking 🤔... it’s odd that it’s approved for ingesting, but not approved to bathe in (it’d b less than a few drops diluted in an entire tub of water)! I’m going to look more into that! Thanks again!

      @@CreativeBathLab did you stare at all of them for a few days when they came in?🤣 yes I agree that's its so strange you can eat it but not take a bath in it. In all reality it's not gonna hurt and it does color the bb's and water so good lol its just like neon micas aren't approved for bb's in the US but are in other countries lol figure that one out 🤣 just stupid rules they made to drive us mad lol love your videos and products you make!🧡💛

      I'm wondering where you live, that you seem to believe food coloring can't be used in bathbombs. As long as it's been certified you can use them. Most approved food colorings that you can add to bath products will have something like, FD&C Yellow No. 5. So as long as it has FD&C followed by a color and the number.. You're good to go!

    • @CreativeBathLab
      @CreativeBathLab  3 года назад +2

      I honestly couldn’t tell you. I’ve never made cold processed soap bf. But if I had to guess, I don’t see why not. Of course, you’d have to dissolve/mix it in oil first (from what I understand). But again, I’m not sure.

      Oh great! Both, I make red, orange, gold, yellow, lime, emerald, turquoise, sky, blue, navy, royal, violet, purple, magenta, pink, punch, & peach. Oh, and brown & black (but that's activated charcoal). But, really - you only need to make primary colors & maybe pink. All colors can be made from using different portions of those.

  • @bathbombdad6466
    @bathbombdad6466 2 года назад

    You CANNOT use colorants like these if you sell in the US! This is very unsafe information! Yikes. The FDA has very VERY strict guidelines on the types of colorants used in cosmetics, particularly bath soak products.

    • @CreativeBathLab
      @CreativeBathLab  2 года назад +6

      I’m planning a tutorial that addresses all of this. I used to go off on comments like this but instead will leave you with this: it’s not my job to inform seller’s of guidelines, rules, fda compliance, etc. my “job” is to show people how I make what I make & that entails telling them what I use to produce the end product. U r WRONG! There’s nothing dangerous about anything I used! Please research & educate yourself before making a crazy & unfounded accusation like that!

    • @bathbombdad6466
      @bathbombdad6466 2 года назад

      I’ve been in this business for 5+ years and worked very closely with the FDA, we have to “fix” and redirect a lot of new makers because they get information from people like you. I get that at the end of the day you can make them for personal use using whatever ingredients, but you could in the least say “while these ingredients are safe to use, if you plan to sell, the FDA does not allow finished products to be sold using these ingredients”. But I get it, you’re videos are selling vehicles to get your affiliate sales, which is more important than educating people who are looking to your guidance to help them start a business. Money vs integrity!

    • @CreativeBathLab
      @CreativeBathLab  2 года назад +5

      Fix & redirect what? I’m not giving ANY (let alone wrong) info on the subject matter that you keep insisting I “should be teaching”. IF someone is selling their products to the public- they need to get selling guidelines straight from a credible source like the FDA site! & not rely on RUclips videos that has nothing to do with selling products! I mean duh! If someone asked “Is this fda approved” I’d go into it -but I haven’t gotten that question once! Seems like you’re the only one hassling me. Also, FDA APPROVED doesn’t = ANYTHING! There’s no penalty for using non-FDA approved colorants in products being sold to the public. Just bc you think something is so important & should be to others, too -doesn’t mean that it is! But again, tutorial coming up ⬆️

    • @bathbombdad6466
      @bathbombdad6466 2 года назад

      @@CreativeBathLab the FDA does do inspections of makers, but go ahead and keep promoting your Amazon links! I get what you’re about. You’re about you and your brand, not helping people. You play dumb to the platform you have as a RUclipsr to inform people, yes, you’re right, people who persue it as a business need to do their due diligence as to what colorants are PROHIBITED (because contrary to what you say, there are a lot-and golly gee, a lot of those prohibited ingredients are in your affiliate links). I can’t wait to see your video explaining why your colorants are all ok. I will even share the video with the FDA!
