Colorado? I hate to think how freezing cold it is there right now. Rod is in QLD and I'm in NSW. Still on the east coast and I know exactly where he is and how beautiful a place he lives in. The water is as warm as bath water, crisp and clear. The salt in the water cleans you from head to toe. You can go a month without a shower easily. With just an occasional dip in freshwater for the feel.

Welcome Rod to boat ownership of a boat that you can't just drag onto a beach! LOL. I've had boats like your new one and in big tides, you have to rig up a pulley system whereby you can pull the boat in or out depending on the tide. It requires a rear anchor, and two swivel, and two pulleys that can withstand a lot of abuse from waves and tides. You put the front anchor on the beach and just pull the boat in or out as required.
    P.S. It's spelt "'CAYE"'
