I feel like a kid watching those creepy present-opening videos, but it's still good to know what an average box is worth so that I can decide whether or not to toss $200. Tutor would have been the only card I wanted and it makes me feel bad to use it in EDH because I only play casually. Maybe at $50/box, but that would be it. Since they're never going that low, it's not for me.

Why did they make it SO hard to hit Avacyn, Jeweled Lotus, Land Tax, Doubling Season etc? Only 3 slots can really be bangers (once in a rare while the commander slot can be good). Sheesh

Ive bought 4 packs from what-not streamers total. And pulled textured foil urza and textured foil ulamog. Won a textured foil ur dragon in a pack break along with a bunch of high dollar etched foils and full arts. No lotus yet though.

Yikes, thank you Joey for showing this product. The portraits look like they were made in one day. Amazing card reprints, but not with this price tag and scarce amount of packs jammed with duplicates in almost every pack.

I would say the textured jeweled lotus will be more expensive purely for it being more aesthetically pleasely and it’s just nicer in every way
at that level of scarcity, style does not matter. Just compare beautiful borderless Art styles from Double Masters 22 vs effortless etched foils with standard art. Etched go for much more just because those are available in collector boosters only.

Why Sliver Gravemother was foil? That slot after the etched card was supposed to be non foil. So in that pack Joey got two foil borderless card. 😅
Maybe they printed only foil versions of the commanders of the precons, just a guess tbh

The new art style that you have called plane which makes sense its got alot of boring space its cool in some meh in many. All the textured cards are those cards or lotus.

What ever happened to being a collector of MTG? I prefer putting together sets, collecting Angels, find a card I simply have to have, finding some crazy art.
All of that still exists in magic. Nothing has really been removed in terms of collecting
Im just lookin forward to this set so i can boost up my newer decks.

The only card better than that demonic tutor, that I would love to pull, would be a full art, textured foil shattered glass terramorphic expanse. I would tear every other card in half😁
WOTC really need to stop the back-to-back cards especially in sets that are this expensive
