I'm sharing my Round Top haul with you today!! I styled a few pieces in the fireplace room just so you can see them all together, but I'm sure it will move around a few times until I get it just right LOL. The two chairs and the coffee table are for sure for that room, the rest were bought for other spaces :) let me know what you think of the haul below.

Yes, especially in the main living area. We are on our 4th home and at least that room has gotten new furniture with each move.

@@cd2659 True, my mother in law is the same. One season you may enter and the area by the kitchen looks like a bistro, another time, it may be a cute reading nook. Her study and nook change, as how she wants to exist in the space changes. In spring the nook is bright and in fall she wants it to feel cozy. I am the same in some ways just on a smaller scale, because I hate moving furniture 🙃

Honestly I can’t wait for you to complete your vision. Your decors always been beautiful but there’s more to do with this house than make it look good. the settee is to die for. i love all of it. with something so open you need little intimate pools of furniture. it’s a very special house.the console is an amazing finish. keep it simple. this is furniture of another level, sell the new stuff you brought from Vegas and spend the money on art.
I like what he has chosen so far & feel it fits the home well. It took me 5 years to furnish & decorate my dream home. I only purchased things that I absolutely loved - never settled. And that did not mean it was the most expensive items either. I always eventually found the perfect thing that was at the right price too. It will always be one of the most enjoyable things I was able blessed to be able to do in my lifetime. So happy that Arvin & Andrew get to do it too.✌🏽😎🌵☀

I buy thing and re-do rooms all the time but I don't endorse things on You Tube. I honestly don't know what to think of his endorsements. Does he love them and now hate them?
LOVE the pieces you picked. I’d definitely mix them with more contemporary pieces just to ensure the look doesn’t feel like a vintage showroom. Art is definitely the hardest category to source for a home especially because I prefer originals and they tend to be so expensive. I have quite a bit of luck finding random originals and lithographs at thrift stores though! Do you plan to keep all your walls white? I can’t wait to keep up with the updates you two make on this gorgeous home!

I live in Austin and my family has been shopping the Round Top Antique Festival for decades. You selected some really special pieces with so much history and character. I also love your denim jacket! Very cool.

All the vintage pieces look amazing. To me the living room looks disproportionate in size. Maybe the 2 matching chairs moving them across the sestee and the smaller chair closer to the small side table. Dining set is to die for. The 1930’s dining/console table feels too big for the space, it’s a beautiful piece, amazing find. But i get you are finding the grove to your new home. And it looks beautiful.

I volunteer At a Greek Revival home built in 1864. I give tours and I never tire of it. The house is fully furnished with genuine furniture from the 1800’s and we are very particular about that. The home was built by Phineas Banning, who is known as the father of the Los Angeles Harbor. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

You should look up how these Mid Century modern homes were furnished way back when,(Richard Neutra comes to mind), for clues on the scale and weight of the furnishings that went into theses airy spaces,I'm afraid your choices are veering towards heavy handed and are not compatible with the architecture.I know you will work it out and it will be fabulous,I think this place lends itself to being chic as in simple/ultra modern with some antique touches.Love your channel ❤
