Thank you for the lightfastness test! Hard to come by any information. For mungyo, the pigments are probably the same that are used for their dry pastels, and they use pretty cheap pigments, especially for violets. But maybe the oil/wax binder protects oil pastels more than regular pastels.

I actually did a similar lightfast test on the Mungyo Galleries chalk Pastels (not the Extra Fine version, these were the square sticks). The results came out quite similar, only slightly worse. All in all, quite surprisingly for a such an economically priced set. ruclips.net/video/Ax29lYU7Rvk/видео.html

The "Mungyo gallery artist soft" are the best pastels I'v ever owned, I even like them better than Sennelier, I also have a small of Neopastel and Van Gogh, 48 Cray pas and a 72 set of Arrtx, which are good but the Mungyo Gallery are my # 1.I have them both dry and water soluble

Could not agree more. I've tried like 13 different types, Mungyos are king.

Honestly, I can't really say because I have never used Paul Rubens Oil Pastels before. You'd have to look into their lightfastness, transparency properties, creaminess/softness, colour payload, and cost to decide for yourself. There are quite a few reviews on Paul Rubens Oil Pastels for you to look into for your research purposes.
