After seeing your videos about them I just have to get a Paola Reina doll. Not like I need to get more dolls but I can't resist them. They have the sweetest faces and I love the way their lips are painted, they look so realistic. I also love how easy it is to find clothes for them on etsy.

For an affordable doll body I don't think you can beat an Azone Pure Neemo or an Obitsu 24cm body. They are both awesome. I love that they both come with interchangeable hands. You can get so many great poses and expressions out of them. I highly recommend you get an Obitsu 24 body they are so awesome and even a little step up in possibility from the Pure Neemo.
Just a tip: they also both fit Skipper clothes. Barbie isn't making a lot of Skipper clothes anymore but I find a lot of vintage or 90s ones on ebay.

Great video, this is one reason I enjoy this hobby: there's a price point for everyone. Thanks for the links too. Of course, I have some Barbie dolls (mine, so they are "vintage") and Liccas, and I recently purchased my first Smart Doll, which I'm over the moon about.
Totally agreed! You can be a doll collector with just a few bucks a month, especially if you love fixing up dolls 😍
My favorite are definitely MTM Barbie bodies with opal vinyl Repaints for faces and definitely the Azone PureNeemo dolls and the Licca Chan girl! 🌟
I have that pink haired chunky barbie! I think she's the first barbie I've ever managed to bond with.
She's a really popular one, I got lucky and found her at the store one day 💜

Can you list the different doll conventions both USA bound and international? Of those, what are your favorites? I collected dolls until around 2000 and stopped due to grandchildren. Have been watching your videos and find them very helpful and interesting. This is Pat.
Love them all so much. Wish I could get a smart doll but to get the doll I want with the cheapest option of clothing will cost me over 1,000CAD. The exchange rate for Canadian has always been awful but for now love watching your videos and explanations, keep it up! 😊

I have my Paola Reina doll who is a red head with freckles and i love her...I will however be doing a face-up on her since thats what i do but she's for my own collection.

I had some LOL OMG and I think they're very well made and have some great details!! I ended up selling them strictly because of space reasons, and that's the same reason I haven't bought a Rainbow High. If I had more space I'd definitely have at least one of each.
I have a Made to Move Barbie. My plan is to turn her into me. I'm craving Smart Doll, but my budget hasn't allowed for one YET and our living situation is... well, it makes me nervous to say the least. I've been warned SD's scratch easily and we have a tiny living situation that is so hard to keep clean! I'm afraid I'd scratch her shortly after her arrival.

Fabric and Friends is the only one I can recommend since they're the only ones I've bought from. I bought mine in Japan at the Azone store, but have bought some Kiki clothes from F&F before 💜

I don't have any Integrity dolls :( they seem to be very hard to buy ... I can't figure out if you have to join their club or what just so you can buy a doll?
Another lovely doll maker is Frances, at A Girl for all Time, these are historical (and modern dolls) with interesting face sculpts www.agirlforalltime
They are nice! I've held them in my hands several times or my online checkout cart but never actually followed through, but they are quite lovely 💜
