      Torrispherical head can also me made this. However, if you are looking for flat pattern of the head. It can't be done using flat pattern function. You need to calculate using the formula.
      For plate thickness less than 25 mm / 1.0 inch
      Blank Diameter = D + (D/42) + (2*S.F)+ ((2/3) * Kr)
      For plate thickness equal or more than 25 mm / 1.0 inch
      Blank Diameter = D + (D/42) + (2*S.F) + ((2/3) * Kr)+ thk
      where,
      D = Outside Diameter of Ellipsoidal HeadS.F. = Straight FaceKr = 0.17*D = Knuckle Radiusthk = Thickness of Head

    Hi Sanjay, great video. How do you turn it into a drawing with compensating plate radius. I want to make a fabrication drawing so the workshop know what tolerance they are rolling the plate too. Look forward to your response 👍

      Hello Benjamin, Models can be used to make the fabrication drawings with all the required dimensions. Dimensions to cut the required plate and rolling diameter.
