If like me , you came here to see reviews on this hidden gem of a product!, I I’ve got you. I highly recommend these tests!, yes they do show a positive reading very early on I am 6 days past ovulation, I chose this test as simply if my pregnancy doesn’t stick and results in a chemical early loss I knew not to drive myself crazy wondering if there was a line on a urine test. This has given me a boost that even if my pregnancy is does not become viable I can now seek fertility advice. There is a TikTok regarding this test which is how I came across it, I advise if you do take this test to follow up with urine tests following your missed period to confirm for sure. Please be aware this test is very sensitive and if you get a positive and go on not to test positive on a urine test it does not mean this was a false positive they are extremely rare despite what you may read, it simple means that your HCG didn’t reach the required amount to produce a positive result before resulting in a miscarrying early on. If you’ve read this far, good luck on your testing!, sending you all the baby dust possible ❤
Around 6 to 8 days but you must take into consideration that there is a high risk of miscarriage in the most early weeks of pregnancy so if you do test positive very early on this may be negative when tested later on.
You know youve picked a bad test when the instructions direct you to a tutorial video with zero commentary and in 480p. I literally could of done better in my bedroom with a iphone
@@helenbodily1441 Thank you for your feedback - the description has been amended. Generally, the tests take about 10 minutes before the result can be read - 2 lines positive, 1 line negative. Further information is provided in the instruction leaflet as to the action to be taken on your result.
@@mandanolan4656 Hello Manda, thank you for your comments. The SELFCheck Pregnancy Blood Test detects hCG, the same hormone detected in urine pregnancy tests and has been shown in independent trials to be a reliable and easy to use pregnancy test. The same device used in the SELFCheck test is also used in hospitals as a quick and reliable way to find out if a woman is pregnant. Of course, if you test very early, there is a risk that you may have been pregnant at the time of the test but you might not be later on. Sadly, it is not uncommon for a pregnancy to be lost at a very early stage. Urine pregnancy tests are less sensitive than a blood test, so you might get a positive result with a blood test days or weeks before you see a positive result with a urine test (this is mentioned on the back of the box that the test is in). Also, all doctors know and accept that any medical test, whether used in a laboratory or at home, will give a very small number of false negative or positive results. This is explained in the instruction leaflet provided with your SELFCheck test. Further information about this test, together with FAQs can be found on our website www.selfchecktests.com. If you get a positive result with any pregnancy test you should make an appointment with your GP for further advice.
You are correct, all medical tests whether used in the lab, clinic or at home will give on rare occasions a small amount of false positive or false negative results. All doctors are aware and appreciate this.
