How Much Water Should I Add Inside Hookah Base? Ideal Water Level

- In today’s video we are going to talk about on how much water you should put inside of your hookah base.
First point we would like to make it a lot of time depend on type of the hookah. But the most common measurement is the hookah stem must be under water 1 inch deep for perfect hookah session.
There are a lot of new hookahs on the market nowadays which are come without bases (most of them) that why they started to mark the level where water should be for perfect airflow.
There usually 2 marks, you have to level water in between
Some come without any water level mark. As we already said 1 inch deep should the perfect water level. You can also use the size of your 3rd part of your thumb to measure it.
We also suggest for you to put water inside and try to inhale the tire without starting the bowl first in order to have a satisfaction with your airflow. That’s the always a good idea to do before starting your hookah. Specially if you smoking different shishas.
Notes; if you put too much water, you will have less working space inside of your bowl, also water can on your hookah bowl if you going to blow the tire out of it and you will drain your bowl.
If you put not enough water, you inhaling process will be too light, but it’s up to you.
But if you going to put not enough water so the stem doesn’t go under the water, you won’t get any filtration, and there won’t be any pressure to inhale the smoke.

Diffuser - 1cm water level from above the top holes of the diffuser.

However guys why dont you try out the iraqi hookah's ? The original brands (taha , babylion) Its like most common ones in the middle east and i'd like to know what you guys think about it
Modern hookahs are made of much more durable materials and finer quality machining and finish. Old skool are nice to look at but modern quality hookahs are far superior for daily use

How to solve over hitting
We have different hookah in Saudi Arabia.
I find the lines on the MattPears are too high. It leads to a restricted smoke and is not enjoyable.
I straight use a funnel and fill the water with the base on the stem.

How often should I change the water? Can I add Vodka or whisky instead of the water?
Change water after each use. Nah, we would not recommend mixing any liquor inside of the base lol🤣
