Hi dear, thank you for the greeting 🤗 As for your question, your education is one factor under Express Entry. It does help increase your points, esp if it’s PGWP-eligible too (since you can get Canadian work exp) but there are several other factors that may bring you closer to PR. But going in, please know that PR is never guaranteed.

I have been to its Coquitlam Campus and it's a relatively decent institution that also has a lot of international students. It fits the DLI and PGWP-eligible criteria, which is a good start. Hello Love your videos. Have been so useful. I really need your advice about this. I already got my acceptance letter from a college and now the agency tells me to use inmigartion services as MERIDIAN to make my visa process. It's a charge of more than 1500 dlls. But I don't know if I really need it or not. Or I could do all my paper work O line by myself. I don't really understand what are they suppose to do. To have an Interview with them I need 265 dlls. So they can analize my case.
Does this agency have a Canadian immigration lawyer or registered consultant handling your application? I understand some authorized representatives charge a reasonable rate for professional services but if it’s neither one of the above mentioned, I wouldn’t put your money on the line.
Did the agent charge you for admission processing? If yes, how much? Since, you have your offer, what you need is either to process your visa yourself or use agent. You only need some guidance to DIY it. You may DM @OyelakinBosede on twitter to chat about it.

There’s different ways to cut the cake in terms of lowering accommodation cost. One is by renting is a neighborhood further out Vancouver area (Surrey, Burnaby, New Westminster, etc) and also considering shared Accommodation. Most busy cities in Canada (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver) have higher cost of living bc of higher comfort of living, so it’s a delicate balance deciding where to go but hopefully this helps 🥰

It may require contacting your previous institutions to send the transcript over to your chosen school in Canada for evaluation. But it can be communicated with the school and they can assess if some credits can be transferred over ☺️👍

The university transfer program is designed for students that did not direct entry requirements but wish to study and graduate from a University in Canada.
It depends on the program and school you’re eyeing for. If you don’t meet the direct entry requirements, you may need to take additional courses to qualify for program entry.
From what I observed, some secondary students attend classes in the campus I just featured but I heard they have another building right across the new campus too to host some students as well ☺️
No, I went to BCIT. I just went to check out the campus and meet other international students. Just covering different schools across Vancouver so prospective students get a feel of the school before deciding to go there :)
It's usually the immigration officer that has a problem with it. The argument they tend to use is that it doesn't align with your education and career goals.

You study overseas to feel the international surroundings. Not making your own fucking group. It was just toxic environments in this college. Make some minorities feel left out (included me). The teachers, students, staffs, whatever the fuck that is. It's just that bad. That's a cc fucking college for ya. Note: I dind't make up this shit. This shit was real. It’s really hard to give a direct answer as someone would have to know your situation in order to provide feedback. However, the associates degree is PGWP eligible and for a 2-year program that gives you an open work permit for up to 3 years, I’d say it’s pretty good IF that education is right for you. Hope that makes sense but I appreciate your question ☺️❤️

Love your videos. Have been so useful. I really need your advice about this. I already got my acceptance letter from a college and now the agency tells me to use inmigartion services as MERIDIAN to make my visa process. It's a charge of more than 1500 dlls. But I don't know if I really need it or not. Or I could do all my paper work O line by myself. I don't really understand what are they suppose to do. To have an Interview with them I need 265 dlls. So they can analize my case.
Does this agency have a Canadian immigration lawyer or registered consultant handling your application?
I understand some authorized representatives charge a reasonable rate for professional services but if it’s neither one of the above mentioned, I wouldn’t put your money on the line.

Canadian College is unfortunately not a PGWP-eligible school, even if it’s a DLI. My focus right now is covering schools that offer that option. :)

There’s different ways to cut the cake in terms of lowering accommodation cost. One is by renting is a neighborhood further out Vancouver area (Surrey, Burnaby, New Westminster, etc) and also considering shared Accommodation.
Most busy cities in Canada (Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver) have higher cost of living bc of higher comfort of living, so it’s a delicate balance deciding where to go but hopefully this helps 🥰
Does Columbia college provide compass card?
You’d still need to buy the card itself.
But after some digging, it looks like they do offer a program where they partially offset the cost of a monthly Compass Pass :)

How complicated is the process to transfer credit from international countries to Columbia?
It may require contacting your previous institutions to send the transcript over to your chosen school in Canada for evaluation. But it can be communicated with the school and they can assess if some credits can be transferred over ☺️👍

No, I went to BCIT. I just went to check out the campus and meet other international students. Just covering different schools across Vancouver so prospective students get a feel of the school before deciding to go there :)

It's usually the immigration officer that has a problem with it. The argument they tend to use is that it doesn't align with your education and career goals.

Therefore, I went home to my country to start college again. Anyway, don't rush. Do some research. Not only that but there is no diversity there. Mostly indians. I felt like this college didnt welcome international students. They tend to make friends of their compatriots. What kind of college was this? You study overseas to feel the international surroundings. Not making your own fucking group. It was just toxic environments in this college. Make some minorities feel left out (included me). The teachers, students, staffs, whatever the fuck that is. It's just that bad. That's a cc fucking college for ya.

It’s really hard to give a direct answer as someone would have to know your situation in order to provide feedback.
However, the associates degree is PGWP eligible and for a 2-year program that gives you an open work permit for up to 3 years, I’d say it’s pretty good IF that education is right for you.
