"DON'T PUSH IT.. DON'T PUSH IT OR I'LL GIVE YOU A WAR YOU WON'T BELIEVE".. my favorite line here.. John J. Rambo...
💯 absolute
My favourite line is I didn't come here to rescue Rambo from u, I came here to rescue u from him.
🔥🔥🔥
For me is:
"Let it go"
In German it's even better. He say's "... or I'll give you a war you will never understand"
Rambo's knife on the Sheriff's neck and the dialogue. One of the most badass scenes ever.
gotta get me a Ka-bar.
It's where Disney frozen got the idea for a song 😉
@@sicksideworldwide1599 underrated comment 😆
You’re right, I bet that sheriff took a huge dump 💩right at that moment😅
@@willia3r Ka-Bar is something awesome. Pocket knife taken too much hormon :)
This scene was like Rambo as the Predator.
Rambo was before the predator though.

I think the whole movie is worth watching even just for this very scene. Great Stallone. For ever.

I've watched this movie I don't know how many times and I never get tired of it. Great flick.
2:12
Rambo: ''Let it go''
narration in Morgan Freeman's voice: ''At that point Teasle knew, .... he should've let it go''
Hahaha best comment ever!
bruh🤣
"Let it go" was a good forewarning.
I can't believe nobody has done a parody music video with THAT song playing.
And Teasle had to bring in the National Guard to kill him. So he fought back and kill all of his men, leaving only Teasle alive.
“In town you’re the law, out here it’s me.” One of the best movie quotes ever in my opinion.
He should've listened. Let him go n pick him up later. His ego destroyed everythg. Those yokels were not match.
No CGI no green screens. Quite simply one of the best action movies ever made...not many are better...Rambo John J
Well, no super-dooper special effects aren't needed, since it's not Star Wars, but real-life story of one degraded war veteran, so green screen or CGI would be useless, but your point is valid.
@@RichieLarpa Collative Learning had some stuff to say about this, in case you're interested.
To this day that leg spike trap still freaks me out the most.
Yeah. That should have been confirmation that they were out of their element.
That's nothing compared to the giant bugs from King Kong.
I'm still wondering just how Rambo managed to get the trap to tense up like that so it would spring. All he had was wood.
@@robertlombardo8437 my guess is a snappy tree branch as the spring. Like an animal trap
@@robertlombardo8437 Wtf you mean how did he manage it,he’s Rambo 🤣
One of the most satisfying scenes in the history of film.
My favorite Rambo movie, because hes taking down power tripping cops who deserve it. All Rambo wanted was something to eat, and they arrest and abuse him.
Agree
The only one that deserved it was the Sheriff himself and Art Galt.
The red haired Sheriff was cool
Shame he got stabbed
Wasn’t power tripping, You have to think about the time period. The sheriff did not want a burned out vet in the QUIET TOWN.
@@royce45678 Not his call who comes into town. It's a free country.
The true tragedy is that Teasle had multiple medals of his own, including the Silver Star and Purple Heart. He knew what war was like, what it did to people. If ANYONE should have had empathy toward someone like Rambo, it was him.
The book shows a much more complex relationship between the two. Teasle had drank the Kool Aid about the Vietnam veterans, even though he himself was a Korean veteran. He also, at first, didn't realize Rambo was a vet and thought he was mocking vets wearing some army surplus jacket. When he found out, it became more about defending his honor at having had Rambo humiliate him. Gault was the one that really sent him over the edge, and he was probably more sadistic in the book than the film.
It is the one thing the book & movie really got WRONG! No combat Vet would turn on another like that. But such is fiction and Hollywood. I am a retired cop & combat veteran, and I know zero percent of the same who would ever do that disrespectful shit to another veteran.
@@patches6309 Sadly, that isn't true. Combat vets are humans, and humans turn on each other on a dime if the situation is right for it. There's a lot of vets screwing other vets, especially when it comes to certain mentalities.
@@RaizanMedia are you a combat vet? If you were a cop & you saw that playing out by another cop, what would you do about it? I know wtf I would do. And it would go real bad for the vet cop who pissed me off. Back your brothers when they are in "the right", never when they step too far over the line. I grew up and lived in Philly. We had a saying that went "Nobody is above an ass kickin". If you are Wrong? You might just get Yo ass kicked.

Don't say that.. I was born in 82 and time has flown by :(
Must have been an amazing experience. Best wishes.
Yep..I remember seeing Rocky III in the theater also..hard to believe ‘82 is just about 40 YEARS AGO...’42 was the same to then.
Weird getting old.
19 years old in 1982 (a great year for films) and saw 'First Blood' in a movie theatre with just 10 guys on a rainy night. Great film.
One of the best films ever
Brian Dennehy - one of the tough's bad asses in movie history - taken out like a boy scout. Love this scene. RIP Brian. Great actor.
Brilliant film . Stallone is excellent…..and not forgetting the brilliant Brian Dennehey who always delivered excellent performances. Not forgotten
And Richard Crenna too!! Masterpiece!!
This movie is sorely underrated. Stallone's best!
It's considered one of the greatest movies of all time. How is that underrated?
Not underrated at all. One of the best films ever.
Underrated? This movie was super popular when it was released.

I've always loved the way Rambo forces Teasle to make eye contact by turning his head using the knife. And how Rambo stares and grimaces at him when their eyes finally meet.
Amazing movies like this tend to be overshaweded/forgotten by their crappy sequels.
10/10 rating.
Agreed. This franchise went way off the rails. The sequels are interesting as time capsules illustrating what action movies were like in the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and ‘10’s, but this movie is *about* something. The director of “First Blood,” Ted Kotcheff, is interesting in his own right. In addition to this film he also directed “North Dallas Forty,” a truly disturbing movie about the Australian outback called “Wake In Fright,” and believe it or not, “Weekend At Bernie’s.”
@Lord Of The World- The whole thing is David Morrell never wrote or even envisioned any sequels. Rambo was killed off in Morrell's novel- First Blood.
I loved the 4th film tbh, but that's the only really good sequel IMO. This and the 4th one are great, and they should have stopped with the 4th one.
"You're not hunting him. He's hunting you." - Colonel Trautman
And then Teasle and his men learn that the hard way.
Remember, never underestimate a Green Beret like John Rambo
And he was the best of Baker team.
snake eaters are about that life😮
Actually Mitch said that, but ya, you don't hunt Rambo
Never underestimate a protagonist in an over-the-top action flick*
I didn't come here to rescue Rambo from u, I came here to rescue u from him.
Rambo disables all of deputies with wood sticks and a knife.
Sheriff: This guy really thinks he's tough, we'll teach him a lesson.
This was the best Rambo. After this, it just turned into an action movie franchise
True. First Blood was completely different from the later Rambo movies, especially in terms of its body count (one person dies in it).
@@oddish4352 Because it was a book, unlike the others that are just popcorn nonsense for $$.

The original and the best. I watched wide eyed and speechless when this came out. Still brilliant in 2021.
This movie teaches you, that you should respect veterans no matter what.
But now in this country 'Police' kill Vets trying TO protect their own homes.

@@veng3r663 this is way too complex for me to even talk about. Life is no movie, it’s a serious affair.
I just know one thing, never mess with a vet. I might find some irritating or impulsive, but I keep my mouth shut whenever I can.
Well, there is the odd exception here and there

Nothing to do... Even after 39 years, he's still the best of the best!
Was that how he was in this one?
i miss that kind of movies as Rambo, 12 monkeys, Seven, Apocalypse Now, Alien 8th passenger... dont u think so?
That Sheriff just soiled himself. Greatest Rambo movie.
Many people are like Teasle. They like to harass and messing around. They do until they mess with a wrong person like Rambo
As it’s often said, “...everyone is a gangster until yada yada ....
Teasle was the one who went lighter on Rambo. The deputies harrassed him when he wasn't around and the Sarge tried to kill him. It was the Sarge's death that triggered Teasle
@@logger22 Teasle started the whole thing by being antagonistic for no reason _and_ he continued to instigate the hunt against Rambo. Teasle was the ultimate scum bag.
Even in the end, they won't admit they screwed up and go back to abusing people because they're so drunk with power...
Mitch was fine he tried to warn the others that they pushed him too much
Like a true hunter, picks them apart, hunts them one by one, deceiving, maiming but not killing.
Great film!! Shot in British Columbia, Canada in 1981 near Hope, BC. I agree, one of Stallone's best.
Nothing gets the blood pumping like watching this movie while you're in basic training!🤣🤣🤣
What makes the grass grow???
I think this is the best scene of this movie, but let's think for a moment, a Medal of Honor recipient is very relevant for the majority people in US, but back then when Vietnam veterans were back home, they weren't very respected like they should, and this movie shows exactly that. Nevertheless their adrenaline was very high yet to be been pushed around. Things could quikly go out of hands.
The fact that Rambo can keep a straight face without any expression at all is priceless!!!
"Don't push it. Don't push it or I'll give you sequels you won't believe."
Lol
Is it just me, or does this version of 'Let It Go' seem more compelling?
He does NOT want to build a snowman.
This film was the first inspiration for me joining the Royal Marines. Green 'Lid' instead of a Beret. Great film, love the PTSD ending scene also.
Don’t mess with Rambo! 💪🏼🔪
I love this whole scenario - You can almost smell the forest. You can just feel the cold and humid conditions, the panick and confusion in the state troopers mental state. And then Rambo who just seems to thrive and become almost symbiotic with his surroundings.
Be careful of who you make your enemy. True then. More true today.
Let it go...
Let . It . Go .
Teasle stubbornly insisted on going after Rambo had a knife to his throat and a dire warning..only in a movie..excellent scene and film!
As a U.S Marine Sniper veteran this is accurate, please don’t mess with veterans because we know how to fight back really good. Best movie scene! Those Sheriffs didn’t knew who were they dealing with, a Vietnam war veteran green beret who has skills.
Thanks for your service sir. I salute you as a civilian
Actually, they did know it before they went hunting
@@zxbzxbzxb1 they didn't know how to hunt.. clearly.
Yawn! Why don't you take something out of your pants besides that wet string?
It is kinda haunting to have each one of your team, even the one right behind you get lost and shout your name, waiting your help.
It is normal for Will to cry like that.
Rambo critically injures all the henchmen, but doesn't leave a scratch on the main bad guy. The rule of films.
If only Survival Hunters were this badass in WoW.
"Let me get this straight. Your suspect is one of the most versatile and deadliest man on the planet, who hunts and kill the most dangerous groups of elites on the face of this planet, and your plan is to hunt and wage war on this person? Good luck!" -Morgan Freeman Maybe

Holy shit - did Rambo PURPOSEFULLY stand up, not moving, facing the cop so that the cop would start to fire and then Rambo would quickly duck out of the way so the tied-up DEPUTY right behind him would get shot by his own kind!? Brilliant if so. You can't create more de-motivation in your opponent than to cause him to shoot a member of his own team. Well trained indeed!

The best part about the way Stallone plays Rambo over so many years between First Blood and Last Blood is that he (Rambo) doesn't lose one iota of his killer instinct. Last Blood had me cringing a bit from how much Stallone seemed to revel in being back in the Rambo character. He really had that "I'm gonna F you up in more ways than you can imagine" look in his eyes.. especially the last one... That was truly some NASTY way to kill.
This is pretty much what he did In 2019, only he actually went all the way, this was his flashback
Never send amateurs to hunt a professional.
Filme erótico
I can only quote Roger Ebert when he said: "Fucking Awesome!"
What? He said that about First Blood? That doesn't sound like him lol
Smartest line in the movie.
" WIll...let's get out of here before it gets too dark!"
They had no idea what they were dealing with.
Oh they knew all right. That's the crazy part. Trying to track a decorated war vet in poor weather conditions through thick brush, at night? The sheriff made a decision that nearly cost his whole department their lives, including him, and he knew it when Rambo let him live. That's why he broke down crying.
They weren't dealing with a sleeping dog but a sleeping attack dog.
@@robertlombardo8437 yeah
And even after knowing who they are dealing with, they still continued to push it.
Rambo for president of America
All screaming “Will, Will!!!” Like he’s their daddy and they can’t fend/fight for themselves. They shoulda been yelling “John! John!!” Cuz he WAS their daddy in this scene.
The best scene in the movie.
Rambo: Let it go.
Ron Howard’s voice: HE DIDN’T.
First Blood is a horror movie. It’s a hill that I’m willing to die on.
at this point in my life, any time I'm in a real crisis, I find myself yelling "WILL HELP ME!"
Let it go. Words of wisdom from a veteran.
Amazing scene. I don't know Teasle didn't learn his lesson here. Sadly, I don't think he ever did. You should never mess with a War Veteran, and especially, give them no choice but to defend themselves.
Teasle was supposed to have been a Korean war combat himself. He was just not as skilled and trained and spat on the Vietnam vets as a whole.
*All Teasle's men picked off one by one like nothing and injured screaming his name*
"Let it go, LET IT GO."
Teasle: "No, I don't think I will."
Didn’t come here to rescue Rambo from you ,I came here to rescue you from him 😆 epic
Best of all the Rambo movies and most believable
Gran pelicula, excelente lo mejor de la saga de Rambo.
Rambo was based on a true character. Lt Nick rowe, green beret who fought in vietnam. He was the only vietcong pow to escape. and he did it twice!!
He's like a human yautja without armor and cloaking device.
But STILL 86% combat effective!
Next to Starship Troopers, Rambo might be my favorite movie.
Here lies John Rambo. Survivor of numerous incursions behind enemy lines. Recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor. Shot for vagrancy, in Jerkwater, USA
Probably the most underrated actor in Hollywood
In the 80s he was the best along with Arnold
@@theamericanboah5435 No they weren’t.They were big action stars but they weren’t seen as in the same class as Jack Nicklson,D,Niro or Pacino
His understated role in Copland (he's overweight, not muscular, and not an action hero) was Oscar-worthy.
Für mich, der beste Film von Stallone....
Realistische Aktion, gute Schauspieler und absolut tolle Location.
Bester Film aus den 80er Jahren.
And Rambo did all of this unarmed (aside from his trademark knife). Imagine if he was given a firearm he's very accustomed with.
He'll blow off each of those state police and national guardsmen sent to hunt him.
In the book he kills all of the deputies except Teasel
He had four opportunities to grab a firearm in that scene alone.
I reenacted these combat tactics with my G.I.Joes.
God!I loved being a kid in the 80s!
