I'm using this LBG too! Mine's utilizing Adrenaline Rush 2 + Evade Window 3 with Dereliction 1 (no Wyvern Counter; using Fanning Maneuver for more dps and I'm stuck with Blue Scroll so I can't switch scrolls) and it works great! Paralysis Ammo 2 is also a good support ammo as well, even though it's finicky to use. 😅

I work most of the day and I don't have much time to mix and match and try stuff (I suck at making good mixed sets anyway) so I always look forward to what wonderful nutbusting cheese sets you make. Please don't change that format if at all possible.
I may try to use your no charm version as a baseline and mod the charm and armor. The fact that the gun has shrapnell as well makes it a very confy all rounder lbg. Ofc it is has no ele ceiling but the dps is more than enough, I may even try to remove mail of hellfire and get a value piece instead, the dps loss would not be huge hence the piece is extremly bad for curio crafting and you also loose the downside. That plus a non greedy slicing build would be perfect to handle anything confortably on 2 sets, perfect for carrying noobs without sweat.
my go to skill now for all my lbgs is bubble dance.. easy to activate.. always procing coalesance when blood lust isnt ... works with resuscitate skill and give evade window 2 and con 2 .. find it works best elemental lbgs . was lucky to roll a max b dance talisman with a 3 a 2 and 1 slot :)
No doubt Spare Shot is a damage increase (if you get fairly lucky), but at the end of the day, you have to decide if you want guaranteed damage, or a percentage chance for more damage. For general sets like AngBata is building, probably better to focus on guaranteed, and let players make that decision to risk it for more.
it is very easy to fit in with curios augment. With a god charm and a bit of curios you have attack 7 / chain crit 3 / spare shot 3 and either quite a bit of confort skills OR a bit more dmg. The silver rathalos helm can get you just itself actually a lot of juice. The only piece that is dull to build around is the legs there ^^'. If you edit curio gear, mail of hellfire becomes not that good due to the fact that pieces that gives it are very tough to curio craft.
Although palamutes help to apply status by themselves, I like for comfort to have paralysis ammunition in my LBGs so for Rapid Pierce 2 I still use the "Avidya Eye" and in Spread I used Rapid Fire Spread 2 with the "Rosensiegen", but now thanks to the update and your videos I saw that the Spread 3 "Gold Valkyrie" which is strong and also has paralysis ammunition so now I am using it. Considering the changes of the update in Spread damage which would be the strongest between the "Gold Valyrie" and the "Rosensiegen"? Thank you for such good quality content AngBata.
On "Paper" DPS but of course things can vary depending on match up Gaismagorm CF Silencer > Gold Valkyrie CF>Rosensiegen CF. An example of a match up where Rosensiegen actually won over Gaismagorm is Anomaly Rathian. Thing i like about gold valkyrie is it has sticky too. All it's missing is exhaust!

Depends on the monster. Generally spread 3 is better but rapid spread 2 is infinitely more fun imo. Any monster with a fat weak zone rapid spread is gonna shine.
i am currently using the tetranodon HBG for spread. with shield, guard, guard up, tune up 1, crit boost, wex, agitator 5, spread up, reload, recoil, ballistics and spare shot. its by far the best for everything compared to lbg sets imo
dodging>tanking is always better, also what if u cant guard some attacks ? (magnamalo nova, bazel nova, metal raths nova) agitator is situationnal so u dont have 100% affinity everytime, im sure it sucks in comparaison both in raw and affinity to let's say, garangolm HBG.

There is a nexusmods mod available to map a key on your keyboard to automatically abandon a quest.
I really think that you are sleeping on Spare Shot level 3 increase in damage, it maybe hard to fit but it can do a lot

Could you use this set for Shrapnel as well? Some of the skills you use from your Shrapnel set carried over here apart from Sneak Attack.
