Very solid bass player. A sound motivator. When I hear him play, makes me want to play as well. God bless you Justin. May God grant you all your requests in Jesus Name.
Ab Major scale makes sense, starts you in the middle of your lower notes. You can work up or down from there, most beginners get stuck on the first 4 notes (including open string). I might have to implement this in teaching
Justin's guitar teacher showing him the A flat scale as his first scale wasn't all that odd IMHO; it was divinely orchestrated. A flat is widely considered to be THE 'Gospel music' key by many in the field. Clearly God had a plan for Justin all along...and it manifested in a big way. #respect
I feel like the main people you look up to while you grow up playing are your heaviest influences, subconsciously or not. I was lucky enough to grow up around some of the best players because of a very well known world famous bass player from my town, and still to this day I always think would this impress “so and so”? In any aspect of my playing. I feel like I’ll never think I’ll be able to match or surpass their abilities and styles, even if I do because I grew up seeing these monster players gigging
Really hope that MTD would come out with an affordable version of the Saratoga bass... Really love that bass, unfortunately not everyone can afford to buy a bass that price... just saying tough..
