@Bloxdbedwars I am a mobile player. I fight/play almost exclusively in third person. It has become a core part of my play style now. As you were talking about mobile players not having a fixed cross hair, this is essential to mobile third person fighting. This allows players to deal damage in the direction that they tap in, ie pebbles, charged crossbow, fire/iceballs, splash pots, and of course, sword hits. This, paired with third person mode allows mobile players to literally hit BEHIND their player models. (This is why you see mobile players not changing direction that much when fighting, as it is not that important when you need to prioritize tapping at the person you’re fighting rather than looking them directly). This is why I fight in third person, it offers a great advantage. Now as to why I PLAY in third person is a little less dramatic. Mobile players in third person can also place/interact behind them as well. You probably instantly thought of bridging. This is REVOLUTIONARY for bridging. Because by double tapping crouch and using a glitch to hold down jump indefinitely, you can crouch-jump backwards to god-bridge in a stair-step pattern, (you can also bridge straight but that requires a bit more finesse). There are some more niche benefits to the placing/interacting wherever you want, maybe tricking someone in spleef by breaking blocks behind your back? But that’s my take in third person gameplay. Lol if I'ma be honest 3rd person pov is good because if someone is behind you and you have the skill you can hit them while they are behind you, and yes i have done this before although they have to not expect it to fall for it.
