Beautiful scenery you guys! So grateful that truckers notified you of your smoking tire! Smart RV guy to bring all the necessities to fix it! God bless them and you guys that nothing else happened. When I was a kid we’d camp a lot! Almost every weekend and two weeks in the summer. We’d load up our boat and go to a cove in one of the many lakes we have here in Az. Kept us all out of trouble to say the least. Such wonderful memories for me and my family.

Portland, i was hoping you'd venture on to Old Orchard Beach, Maine, my hubby's hometown!! It's a very cool place!
After watching many,many videos from metal detectorists, I realized how much I missed hills/mountains,streams and rivers. I had been really sick for 4 years so had started a search for another place to live. Maybe it would remain wishful thinking. Maybe not. Then property taxes went up every year. I had to retire. Politics were ridiculous. So I moved to AR. I moved to a retirement village. I am surrounded by all the things I wished for. 🙃 The bonus is a village full of t&into to do and the nicest people I've ever met. I dropped right into a neighborhood!
So figure out what your soul needs and go for it!!! GO FOR IT!
Dagney's videos might strike a chord with you on a personal level. (They usually get you somewhere). Maybe try foreign food and drink. Buy a handful of snacks,grab the dog, and head for the woods! Maybe it's time to make a soda for dogs "Human Spit" and see if it sells. 🤔 "Dog Drool" was received with mediocre " hmmmm,maybe" but consumed nonetheless.

Your moose was adorable!! Happy you were able to find a nice guy to fix the tire. I really hope at some point you ate a ton of Lobster while you were there. I love it and from what my parents said it's inexpensive up there. They were on a trip and she said they ate Lobster everyday. We are from Georgia so no Lobster but lots of fresh shrimp on the coast. There is nothing like shrimp that came off the shrimp boat just hours earlier. Have fun!!

Next time you come up to Maine. You should check out my favorite flea market. The Willows in Mechanic Falls. 3 huge floors of amazing treasures!! There are at least 4 flea markets on route 26 heading towards Norway and Bethel. It's a great thrifting adventure. Glad you enjoyed our beautiful state!

Looks like you and your family had a great time. I have a moose story but it is at Yellowstone national park. I so wanted to see a moose because I hadn't seen one before. So I had been searching for one as we were driving there. We came around a curve and there it was and so I yelled out MOOOSE. My husband and son started laughing hysterically because it turned out to be a statue of a moose. It was a very life like one. The right size and in bronze. So I haven't lived that one down and I still haven't seen a moose.
