holy shit Hansi playing guitar. damn if I were there i would have volunteered to play guitar for him. i know both of these songs like the back of my hand!!!
God, this is probably Hansi's best vocal exhibition I've ever heard! Almost better than the CD...a shame that during the last tour he wasn't so good. Those two crack me up!
Just the best vocalist? No, not just. God? That's possible. A very powerful Wizard with siren's magic that can fascinate and capture your soul? That's closest to the truth.
he was playing bass till 1996 since than he just sings he is playing guitar here because there is no Marcus Olorin1863 is probably right about where is Marcus
He is 54 years old. Hansi's voice is already in the point where is declining but I think some of the tone he has here has to do with the placement of his voice. He has a lot of resonance.
@@carlosluismendez7392 Yeah, something that is not age-related is different here. I think it changed around 2003, I went through all of the live videos and tried to pinpoint the time where this "low-frequency resonance" went away. And it seems it's somewhere around 2000s decade. The first notes of bard song show it pretty well. Same pitch always, but back then it's with a deep resonance of lower frequencies, while later it is same pitch but only mid and high frequencies that resonate strong. No clue if it is intentional as he worked on his style, or a side effect from something else.
@@dontanton7775 He is getting old. Hansi's speaking voice sounds deeper and lower here than now. Symptoms of Aging Voice An aging voice shows signs that often include: Higher pitch in men Lower pitch in women Loss of projection and resonance Reduced volume and endurance Voice tremors (shakiness) Weak or breathy voice He was really ill during the tour in 2007 and in acoustic set the band played in AOL he was really struggling with the songs. He was sweating there. He never recovered all his voice after that. I think he should work with a vocal coach to see if he can recover some of that resonance again and keep his voice in the best shape possible for his age. He sounded really good in that last demons and wizards tour, much better than in 2015 with Blind Guardian, so it's possible to improve a little bit.
@@carlosluismendez7392 Yes, I agree and it wasn't meant as condescending. I think, including all factors, Hansi's voice is still awesome and getting better too.
@@dontanton7775 I found this great performance from the beginning of the 2010s ruclips.net/video/otoWZd64aB4/видео.html When he is in good shape vocal wise he sings like that, with full power but when he is on tour he sometimes go for a more soft approach, he learned that during the 2007 tour . I think he was in a bad day during the acoustic set in 2020 after the tour with Demons And Wizards. We need to wait for the next album to see how he is doing vocal wise.

God, this is probably Hansi's best vocal exhibition I've ever heard! Almost better than the CD...a shame that during the last tour he wasn't so good.
Those two crack me up!
It doesn't matter to me if he knows how to play the guitar...Hansi's voice is perfect :)
he's playing a watered-down version of the rhythm

I'm sorry, I don't think I understand what you mean with that...
I dont think so :P but on the live concerts its most Marcus thats singing the baking vocals..so maybe he is not used to it
3.28:S where did the power go:S Why is he playing Rob halford!?
I see he has some problems with playing and singing at the same time you should teach him that
wtf are you talking about?
The only thing ominous about this chain letter is the horrible spelling.
