proof energy regen briefly pauses upon ability cast/skill use [Warframe]

making this public for science
had to lab out whether or not the perceived delay in energy regen was UI fuckery or real, given new Energy Nexus mod
turns out it is real
I didn't bother to time the delay tho, figure it out for me? :3

figured this out pretty easily with just saryn + zenurik because her 1 costs 0 energy but noticeably delays regen

Still prefer Hunter Adrenaline for my energy income, doesn’t turn off when abilities are channeled.

this was unforunate, it works with wukong as its a single cast but I was hoping it'd work with her.

yeah its the same thing with channelled abilities. You could have 99 energy per second but if an ability costs 1 per second you will still lose energy overtime. Kinda stupid but oh well

It’s to do with balance.. otherwise players would spam every ability, regardless of builds.

yeh I'm pretty sure it works like shield recharge delay; literally any form of self energy drain will disable recharge until the delay is waited out with no more drain occurring. you'll note the same delay exists even when toggling off channeled abilities.

Does anyone know if Sanctuary Onslaught was nerfed or is bugged right now? Yesterday I could max out frame, primary, secondary and melee in 3 zones. Now 3 zones only gets me from level 0 to 9-11. And yes I have blessing and booster still

Sounds dumb but are you doing Elite? That's very weird that it would take that long.

Zones are random, the faction and map have a MASSIVE effect on XP, some only spawn 350 mobs, some spawn over 1700, and infested/corrupted have lower eximus spawn rates
