Looks like they copied the dance steps of the Marvelettes too....their cd that came out a few years ago is worth a look /listen.. [gigi and the charmaines]
These girls were from the US and performed at The original Bluenote of and on from 1962-64. Although they were a tribute group they were very good and always were welcomed at the club when they were in town
