I am not going to lie, would be a bit of a dream come true to be in the presence of this legend in an intimate session like this. Not a fan of screaming crowds! This album was just brilliant! Keep up the amazing work!
It could've been so much better, I was at the gig and the crowd were utter garbage unfortunately. So many people were talking throughout a great deal of his tunes and it got to the point that he actually finished a song part way through because people weren't listening/were talking over it. He was trying to discuss some songwriting processes and song meanings, but again people were just talking over it and basically heckling him so he stopped. Felt like such a rare opportunity squandered, was a shame
@@johnwright2322 Suppose it depends on what you’d consider a heckle in a given situation, that’s why I said basically heckled. He was trying to chat with the crowd about his tunes and kept getting cut off by people shouting inane, generic shit. So sure, people weren’t shouting ‘you’re shit’, but he was definitely getting people interrupting him or throwing him off his flow at the very least. That wouldn’t be a problem in a larger venues obviously, you don’t get much interaction in typical venues anyway, but you could clearly hear every individual thing people shouted at him and it literally stopped him playing in the middle of two songs as well as preventing him continuing to chat further with his audience.
he's feeling it, haven't seen him like this in a while. Maybe it's just the lack of obnoxious people screaming for old pine. Wish I could work a delay sound like that.
Anyone who plays guitar knows how difficult this song actually is to keep in time with delay.. I learned it. Trust me it's alot harder with the drum machine too.. one wrong note and it throws you off rythm. I've got the drum machine loop if anyone would like it?
@@tomalexwhitham I know ben has had alcohol problems as well since ifwww he drink alot of wine. He's doing well now but a bad phase with the bond brothers on 2015. I got pneumonia waiting outside of Newcastle to meet him.. almost killed me but I didn't see him 😔

An Ehx memory man will do that for you.
Poor ben had mickey help I don't think he played this for a while and it's very difficult
What happened around the 3 minute mark?
The sound cut out on the microphone for a few moments. I thought he recovered pretty well!

Agreed! He also played ‘You Have Your Way’ and the guitar part, particularly the rhythm of it, was absolutely mind blowing. The guy is unreal.
