I have watched countless videos hundreds of hours of reading researching buying and I never ever heard such clarity, such obviously relatable analogys such as the rubber ball. And I just started watching you this moment in time.
You have a gift thank you

I have one question from when you were in your vocal booth: What two things did you want to talk about really briefly??? LOL, good video. I like the ball tests, very good for a visualizer like myself. I have my own "PVC Prison" as I call it set up in my already rather small bedroom. Probably should come up with a better name; Prison doesn't sound all that inviting LOL. PVC Palace maybe?

Haha yea indeed. I suppose my superb editing skills is what I was mentioning? 😅 glad the ball tests worked for you!

This is probably a stupid question, but when you're filming this video, 99% of the time you weren't in that closet booth you built and the audio sounded so much better than when you were in that booth for the 30 or so seconds you were in there. How did you treat that room that you're doing most of the recording out of in this video, and how did you make that audio sound so amazing? Again, this is probably a stupid question, but I felt the need to ask anyway.
Also, I LOVE this series you're doing, it's so helpful. Thank you so much!

That's not a stupid question at all! Thanks for asking it, and glad you're enjoying the series :)
The audio from that section is on a like $30 mic that's plugged into the top of my camera and is of a much lower quality than the other microphone I was using in the rest of the video. Essentially, the audio gear used in the remainder of the video is of a higher quality and is designed to get quality sound in that scenario!
Some other videos might detail why (I can't really remember to be honest), but if I can help further let me know!
