Maxpedition Colossus Versipack Review

- I saw this bag on sale a few months back and could not pass it up. It has a few things I would like to see changed, but overall, this is a wonderful pack and one of my all time favorites! Even though some people have given it a hard review, I see no reason not to give it a 9-out-of-10! Mine, being newer, lacks some of the stitching flaws that are on older bags. Further, I do not mind the extra weight of the bag (roughly 2 pounds empty) since I am assured that what I am getting for the weight is extreme durability.
Thanks for watching! Blessings!

Yeah it's great for someone to point out these little nuances that crop up during the actual use of a product-such as the rocking and shallowness problem here.
Great review-thank you!
Awesome bag and review! Very cool. You got a great deal on it. Nice info on the Colossus.
Thanks, bro! God bless, my friend!
Nice review. I wish you would of put it on and showed how the bag rides. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
Good review! I have the Maxpedition Mongo Versipack. A bit pricey, but I love it. I actually use it as a diaper bag of all things. So you can imagine the kind of abuse it gets as it's thrown in the car and occasionally run over by strollers, but it's held up well so far. Get all kinds of comments on a tactical/military looking pack with baby blankets and bottles sticking out of it!
Lol! That is awesome! That would be a very tacticool diaper bag! I'm sure if I ever had kids someday, I would be the exact same way! Blessings!
Thanks for this, it clarified a few things i was looking for n other videos, but didn't find.
Nice bag, good review as always. Any idea on a timeline for a review of your BOB ?
Nice video!
I watched your video and another and decided to order the Colossus, especially since Maxpedition is having a one day sale of $89.
Subbed.
P.S. thanks for the tip on the rear compartments, I'll watch filling the middle too much.
+pinkiewerewolf That's an excellent price! Good score!
I hope you enjoy it :) Happy hiking!
Best Maxpedition Colossus Versipack review I have seen... GREAT WORK! Im totally sold!
6:23 that velcro bit for the belt is in other system they have too. It's a stabilization point, not a carry point. A bag like this can weigh 10-15 pounds. You don't secure that with a little velcro.
Great video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
nice pack man great review
Thank you brother! Have a good one!
Could an iPad fit into the CCW pocket? Great overview, aloha.
I don't have one to check, but I would say with relative confidence, based on my limited use of ipads, that it would. Just make sure you do not overload the main compartment. You do not want to put too much pressure on the screen. If you still want to make sure that one fits, you can email maxpedition and ask. I have talked to a representative once and he was very kind and knowledgeable.
Blessings!
Excellent review as usual. Thanks for sharing, I have been looking at these, don't like the price at all. You really scored.
Yeah, the normal price is pretty high. How much does it cost in Canada? Is it more?

I haven't seen them in stores as I rarely go to any. I see them online and they are upwards of $100 plus shipping. Sucks.
FastActionBlades Yeah, that is pretty expensive. UTG makes a knock off version for cheaper.
Survivalkraft
I'll have to check it out. Thanks.
Nice bag. Wouldn't mind having one for my self.. How much did you say it was?
Thank you! They are great. I was able to pick it up at a sale for half off. But normally it will run you between $100 and $120.
Blessings!
Perfect review... thanks..
Great review. Liked and subbed. Too bad, Maxped is expensive as shit over here in Germany. Got a bunch of bags anyway! ;-)
I know! I lived in Scotland for three years and I would have had to take out a bank loan to afford a Maxpedition backpack! LOL! They were nearly 2/3 more there than they are here in the US!
Thanks for commenting! Blessings, brother!
Pretty good review. Tks.
Thank you!
Not bad man!
Thank you! Have a good one!
Wery good review.
You've seriously been going on day hikes and haven't taken us on one of them?
Honestly, I have been paranoid about breaking my new camcorder! But I purchased a Kyocera Torque recently, which has a built in camcorder, is waterproof up to 50 ft., and is impact resistant up to a 6 ft. drop. So I'll be using that once I figure out how to put more data storage in it!
Blessings, brother!
very informativ and well done Video - thank you from europe
You have interesting pronunciation, where are you from, originally?
I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee, though my parents are both from northwestern states, so I have a little bit of that accent too.
