These podcasts give me a greater appreciation for the women who play in the WNBA. Satou's engagement in causes for justice and women's employment in Africa tells me she is more than a basketball player. Quite appropriate for Sometimes I Hoop.

It pains me since she was a Duck…but she was the difference maker on that team. Sabrina and Ruth’s were formidable….but Satou was a match up problem for everyone. I agree they were a favorite for the National title,,,the only good thing from the pandemic was it denied the hated Ducks a chance
Everyone loves Paige and Azzi but the girls are still in college. And they get plenty of exposure. Haley’s in with the big girls now and she’s focusing on WNBA players. But, yeah, Haley goes back years with both of them, I think.
@@marcusb.3038 Azzi Fudd has no demonstrated yet that she can stay healthy for a full season consistently. That statement is quite laughable. Until that happens I don't think she is going to leave UConn. In fact there is a better Paige return's for a fifth year so she gets to play more with Azzi bc of lack of playing time together from there injuries. Along with the NIL deals making money in college is more appealing to stay in college for younger athletes. They both want to win National championships at UConn they aren't going anywhere.
@@written12 Haley is very good friends with Paige and Azzi from USA basketball. Just because Haley is in the pro's now doesn't mean she still can't interview people that are literally just a year or two younger than her? Also who cares if they get a lot of. exposure so does Caitlin Clark, Alliyah Boston. Is it just because they go to UConn does it annoy you they get a lot of attention?
