    you gotta get the carbide blades it should never take 30 seconds to cut anything unless its a tree stump also 1 carbide blade will outlast probably 25 regular blades if there's one thing I've learned from using my tools is your tool is only as good as the blade/bit you use

    • @ManCaverTools

    The blade was dull on the Milwaukee clean cut when it starts smoking that means the blade is dull

    • @eliadbu
      @eliadbu 3 года назад +2

      Yes when you cut, saw, drill in wood and you see smoke it means that tool is not effectively doing it job and a lot of energy converts to heat rather to desirable work, usually the blade or drill bit is the root of the cause.

    • @Jorash_Barison
      @Jorash_Barison 3 года назад +2

      That was also knot material. Yes a blade smokes when dull, but in thick wood it can not remove the saw dust and due to the denser grain of the knot territory and the extra sap of it (dried or wet) it binds and smokes as well.

    • @ManCaverTools
      @ManCaverTools  3 года назад

      the blade was dull for both tools

  • @TheBenjammin
    @TheBenjammin 3 года назад +3

    the orbital feature allows the blade to disperse the saw dust better keeping the blade clean thus quicker cut. Thats also why it wasnt smoking on orbital.

    • @eliadbu

      Hilti usually is built to last and is top notch in terms of quality, but comparing the two is not a good comparison since the two are in entirely different price class.

    • @kenb6144
      @kenb6144 3 года назад +1

      I heard on another RUclips video, maybe aVe, that Milwaukee tools are engineered to last 30 hours before failing. Hilti was around 1200 hours. Don't quote me on those numbers but the gap was substantial.

      @johnadams1052 3 года назад +1

      Even if the Hilti is sent out for a repair their turnaround is superb tool back on the job site within 3 days Milwaukee on the other hand can take a whole month

    • @JJ-lu6mg
      @JJ-lu6mg 3 года назад

      @@johnadams1052 yes that’s very true and as far as overall build quality I’m almost positive that the Hilti is a much better tool. When I was in the Carpenters Union all we used was Hilti. Hilti also would come to the job sites and take tools in for warranty and have a a tool truck with tools you can buy at the job site, just like how Snap On trucks go to all the car dealerships.

    Milwaukee invented the reciprocating saw which is how "Sawzall's" got their "sawzall" nickname. The reciprocating saw is still one of their rare USA made tools that they always seemed to put the most engineering into so it's no surprise to me.

    • @Osmosium2507
      @Osmosium2507 2 года назад

      Makes total sense that the reciprocating saw is very popular in the US. In wood framed houses with drywall you have a lot of use for it.
      While the main tool from Hilti are concrete tools, more useful in European houses made from brick.
      So I guess both have their own home field advantage.

    kinda wish that youtubers that demo these tools actually used and abused these tools on jobsites. this is mostly a issue with most of the tool review channels not just this content creator so no offense. I think it would be great if someone was out there really testing these tools especially given how much money someone ends up investing in a ecosystem. For example I own so many milwaukee tools it's honestly turned into a problem... and I can confidently say the super sawzall is too powerful for it's own good. I've ruined the tabs for the battery release on every 12 amp and 9 amp I own because of this sawzall. and apparently it's become quite the issue that in milwaukees new sawzall they included metal wear stripes to somewhat combat this issue. The 9 amps had major issues with pre mature battery failure and it caused milwaukee to discontinue it. also on a side note having a 12 amp battery slip out of that super sawzall on your foot isn't fun lol. And this isn't me just bashing milwaukee, I use and abuse there tools, and for the most part I am satisfied with them. But with that said I wouldn't recommend anyone buy the super sawzall if they plan on really putting it through it's paces on a jobsite.

    • @ManCaverTools
      @ManCaverTools  Год назад

      insurance reasons is why job sites dont allow that. I tired.

    • @GingrBreadMan
      @GingrBreadMan Год назад

      @@ManCaverTools I guess it depends on the jobsite. I am a Sub contractor so to be completely honest I don't know exactly what rules would even be in place that would prevent someone from doing that. Even if you could lend the tools out with the expectation that you are given the shortcomings of these tools I am sure that would be of great value to anybody who is thinking about one system over another.

( Yes same blades make them equal, but each one is an ecosystem :)) Ah and one last thing... it’s missing a stress test to see how many cuts you get per battery, and you need to measure batt. temps, it will show a clear indication of how long that part of the tool will last, temps kill the batteries. ;) Keep it the awesome work, really enjoyed it.
