I used coconut curd, coconut butter and of course, coconut milk. Needless to say, the cake was fab as every other recipe of yours!!!! Thankyou so much for your recipe!!!!!!! P.S I made a simple buttercream frosting for the icing cuz I was feeling lazy to make coconut cream cheese😅

I once made your vanilla cake into a delicious coconut cake. Just swapped refined oil with extra virgin coconut oil and added shredded coconut. It was so good!!! ❤

I personally feel dedicated coconut may be a little dry. Perhaps you can make more caramel sauce to go with the coconut so that it gives a little more moisture. But it will still work☺️

Hi dear. Mix the butter and sugar well until creamy and fluffy. Give it at least 2 min on high speed. Add all the other wet ingredients. Once you have added the sifted dry ingredients, do not over mix. Best to use a spatula just to mix to combine. If you have 3 pans like me, it will also give you a soft and moist texture instead of using one pan which will be a lot more difficult and take longer to cook. Don't forget to preheat the oven for at least 7 minutes. I'm not sure where went wrong for your case, but if you follow these steps closely, I can assure you'll be very happy with the result . Hi dear. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Fresh shredded coconut will last in fridge for 3 days, no problem. This cake is pretty similar to ondeh ondeh cake. Alternatively, you can also use desiccated coconut (worse scenario) but I would very much prefer the fresh one, more juicy and moist ☺️
