- I had to do a video on my ride or die long lasting summer makeup (sweat proof + waterproof). In this video I'll be using all of my favorite long lasting makeup products, favorite sweat proof makeup products and favorite waterproof makeup products in the ultimate summer makeup tutorial. I wore this summer makeup look nonstop while I was in Miami - and if any of you have been to Miami, you know it is SUPER hot and humid there. That's when I knew this was the ultimate long lasting summer makeup look that could withstand all of that Miami sun, sweat and water! Hope you love this tutorial and hope it helped you if you were looking for a long wearing summer look!
I forgot to say in the video but you definitely don’t need to apply much of this foundation. A little goes a long way!! If you apply to much, it may start to look cakey depending on your skin type so just take it little by little :)

Here’s a tip: the dermablend translucent powder makes everything underneath it waterproof so you don’t need a foundation nor concealer waterproof if you have that powder

The real key to long lasting makeup is the amount you wear. The less you have on your face, the longer it will last. In the summer I use a BB cream, mascara and brow gel and I still look the same as I did when I first applied it at the end of the day.

DOUBLE CLEANSE ESPECIALLY AFTER MAKEUP ROX!!!!! PLEASE!!! You'll notice SUCH a difference! I started double cleansing a few years ago and my acne drastically cleared up and my acne scars started fading! In summary the steps are: makeup remover ==> cleanser ==> treatment cleanser. I use a makeup removing liquid from sephora collection to remove most of my eye makeup, then I use Tatcha's cleansing oil for my entire face and this removes ALL of my waterproof mascara in like 10 seconds of gently rubbing my lashes (eyes closed obviously, omg). I then hit my face with some water so the oil becomes milky in texture and wash everything off with help from a facial sponge. Then I use a makeup removing / cleansing 2-in-1 cleanser (Blueberry bounce by Glow Recipe). Finally once I'm certain my face is free of makeup, I use a final cleanser (Indie Lee's brightening cleanser) with either my Foreo or Clarisonic to clean my SKIN not just the makeup. Using a facial brush or cleansing device with traces of makeup on your face isn't advised since you may be pushing the makeup deeper into your pores. Thanks for reading! I hope this helps :) (I'm not a dermatologist or anything I've just tried one metric shit ton of products and techniques until finding my holy grail routine). Loved the video though!!!!! So helpful!
