Another great video. You are very thorough. Good tip to use fresh soil when repotting. Always learn something watching you. I use flat coffee filters to cover the drainage holes on my pots. I have for years. It helps keep the soil from washing out.
Devin what do you think about putting plants in clear plastic pots? A lot of RUclipsrs that I also watch are doing that. Then then use. Cover pots to put them in. I’ve been thinking of doing that.
I thought some of my plants dried out faster than others because they were in terra cotta pots and the ones that didn't dry out fast were in ceramic pots. Also I thought you weren't supposed to repot plants in the winter especially if you lived in a very cold climate like you do.
The difference in pots can be a factor. I always repot whenever indoor plants need it rather than according to a timeline . Outside plants should follow the seasons of course
The tarp on the floor is a great idea.
It definitely helps a little bit!

That's a great tip for drainage! I'll have to try that out.
Thank you Devin! Great video and I’m excited about membership 💚

I definitely have some like that. Plastic pots tend to warm up quickly which is nice for initiating growth
Hey Devin it's getting that time of year. I see Cottage Farm on QVC when are you guys going to on and I can't wait to see what's new this season 😉👍.
we will be on january 20 at 10am!!
What's your opinion on the water meters, I feel like they disturb the roots, and also vary from top to middle to bottom of the pot. Thanks
I think just learning to watch the plants is more helpful than those
