Bonfires dot the rolling hills Figures dance around and around To drums that pulse out echoes of darkness Moving to the pagan sound. Somewhere in a hidden memory Images float before my eyes Of fragrant nights of straw and of bonfires And dancing till the next sunrise. I can see lights in the distance Trembling in the dark cloak of night Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing A waltz on All Souls Night. Figures of cornstalks bend in the shadows Held up tall as the flames leap high The green knight holds the holly bush To mark where the old year pa*ses by. I can see the lights in the distance Trembling in the dark cloak of night Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing A waltz on All Souls Night. Bonfires dot the rolling hillsides Figures dance around and around To drums that pulse out echoes of darkness And moving to the pagan sound. Standing on the bridge that crosses The river that goes out to the sea The wind is full of a thousand voices They pa*s by the bridge and me. I can see the lights in the distance Trembling in the dark cloak of night Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing A waltz on All Souls Night. I can see the lights in the distance Trembling in the dark cloak of night Candles and lanterns are dancing, dancing A waltz on All Souls Night.
Yeaaah!!! I also grew up with my mother listening to the original...for some reason all soul night is still to this day my most favorite from Loreena. It is also the first song of her that i heard. The periode of tape deck! I agree with Unseelie Faelass. Well done Triddana! a another one that i will listen in repeat mode.
Same here on All Soul's Night being the first song of hers I ever knew. But the song that overtime stole my heart, was The Old Ways. Which is actually on the same album as All Soul's Night.
@@Triddana And such a beautiful land it is! The Alps of the southern hemisphere! Your music is such a reflection of this land. Reminds me of my native land, Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, your mountains are higher though. Love your cover of "All Soul Night" !
@@hoffer54 Hey Hoffer, thanks a lot!! :D Indeed, Argentina is a beautiful place with vast (and also very varied!) natural landscapes. Hope we travel to that part of the US some time for gigs! We meet and get to know new amazing places! :D
I have to say, I actually prefer the original cover over this version. It sounded way more gritty and loud. This one is too uniform for my taste. I still like your other stuff though. Keep it up!
Absolutely amazing... I'm saying this as a Loreena fan for 20 years.
This song is amazing. No disappointing song from Triddana
Thank you! We invite you to share it with friends if you want. That would help us a lot! :)
Triddana I will share for sure.
Yall be killing that bagpipe and pan flute. I love the fusion with the driving instrumentals. Its transcendant 🥹🤯
I feel like half of Loreena's catalogue is perfect for metal covers. Well done. This is exactly what I'd hope for. Subscribed.

This is glorious!!
Thank you so much James!!
As someone who grew up with the original, and with metal in the house, I love this rendition! Well done!
Thanks a lot for your words!! =)
