I did it!!! Woo-hoo! The practice run was successful so the moms will each be getting one of these for Mother's Day! It's SO SO SO cute! This one was WAY easier than the papillon! Maybe I understand paper boxes better than paper dogs! 8) (my dad sold boxes when I was growing up!) Yesterday I found at Walmart a 50 page pad of printed 12 inch square paper (2 pieces of each print!). I was so excited! Thanks for showing me how to do this!
@angelgirls1980 Hi Patty Thank you for your kind compliment. It's my pleasure to share with you and your girls. Appreciate your support too. Thanks for watching my video :-)
Oh Irene, I LOVE these! They are so lovely! You are so gifted. I just love seeing you work magic! It's pure joy. I love these. I know the girls will too! Thank you for sharing. I always look forward to see what you will make next! Love and Light, Patty
So I finally got it. Ughh I realized why the kid and box weren't working. I mean the kids was to small and the box was big. I had done an extra or more like wrong folks on the lid and the box was because in didn't do the the fold s. Wow I watched it 10 times and got it. Anyways amazing tutorial. Great job!!!!!! :)
This video is really cool but much to fast which makes it very hard to understand. Could you make your videos slower and let people actually see what your doing. Thanks!

Hi Patty

The lid will definitely fit in nicely with the base using the same size paper. You may wish to try again and see which step(s) you may have missed.
Beautiful! The box alone would be a very sweet gift! So lovely!
This can watch forever ! Those who think it's too fast, maybe u can try use pause when you hands on

I'm kinda stuck on the part when you fold the corners underneath. That's kinda confusing to me.

Is there a slow motion version of this?
@sweetheartsmiley3200
Yes, you can use construction paper. Any paper you fancy, such as gift wrapping paper. Thanks for watching :-)
Nice tutorial, I already did my Origami Heart Box for my lover.
@Iloveart17
If you use the same size for the lid and base it should fit in nicely :-)
Yay!!! I also have the same origami book! And I'm also an origami pro.
@Confindence143
In the tutorial, 2 pcs of 14" square paper were used for both base and lid. Hope this clarifies :-)
