Perfect timing on this video. I just started playing the game again about a month and a half ago and got my first EB a couple weeks ago. I started using the EB on Tuesday and was thinking man this thing feels really good. I think I’m going to alter my builds a bit and replace St Elmo’s with it.

I got mine 2 weeks after the raid came out on my first clear and also my second, managed to get the st elmos in countdown from a random npc, so be good to test both out
Both weapons now have very similar DPS on the build you’re using. Burst DPS is higher by about 3% on the EB and sustained DPS is higher by about 1% on St Elmo’s
Which is basically fuck all difference assuming you hit all your shots (good luck). But people can feel good about using the thing the spreadsheet says is at the top. 😂
bearer hits harder on spreadsheets for sure if you land all of your shots that leaves the barrel but ectum est is just an insane talent that guarantees your max dps connects for a certain period bearer outdamaging it by a small % while trading everything else just seems weird cuz not only does it not have a damage talent the talent it has also does not help it dish out those damage like elmo the only case i see for bearer being better is that you are going solo and doing a run and gun build with no shield, in which case tenacity helps immensely where you would get yourself killed but just firing away with the shock rounds also keep you alive by ccing the enemy so i honestly cant even tell where you would want the tenacity except for when you're already in deep shit
I'm liking both of these both of these ARs but I do have a few questions. Does the Striker does damage from mid to long range or is it more for mid to close range? Can the Eagle shoot mid to long range?; and can you put a vertical hand grip on both weapons and can they both be in a color or colors of our choice?
Well Striker pretty much melts any target and as for the guns they both are exotics and you cannot modify their attachments. Both weapons are deadly accurate with a very manageable recoil pattern all you have to do is drag them slightly down while firing that's all. As for range they are Both ARs and the range is always mid to longish (Mostly all AR's damage starts falling off from 35 meters).
Great vid brother but again people look at weapoms and ask whichnone is better. Thats like asking whichbis better a ferrari or a 4x4. Well self explanatory. It depends on what you are going to use it for. You dont use a ferrari for offroad now do u.
As I already mentioned in the video. It doesn't matter if you use a striker chest or not if a weapon is already winning against another means it will always win. And Eagle Bearer is already winning by 100k without expertise so adding expertise means it will beat St. Elmo by an even bigger margin.

It's alright but that 40 mag is a bit on the lower side for me. If it was 50 then it would've felt good. Idk I just don't feel it with the capacitor but hey don't let me hold you from using it. It is a great weapon :)

If my quick and dirty calculations on lunch were not that wrong the Capacitor is able to out DPS these two in the video by a GOOD amount. Need to recheck them later with a few different spreadsheets on my PC.
Yes and No. Striker Chest does provides you with more DMG which can be useful in Boss DPS. But most players likes to use a High End chest with a Damage Talent because it's easy to build up the stacks and mostly everything is dead before you get full stacks.
7:45 I think the CHC is a bit too low, 50% of CHC would be better (since you can hit 60%, the hard cap of CHC, with coyote's buff). The math(CHC*CHD): 0.498*147=73.206 > 0.438*159=69.642

It can drop from anywhere. Every exotic drop will have a chance to be a St. Elmo. However the best way to farm it would be Assualt Rifle targeted loot. The best place for it is the countdown.
There's an Exotic Chest piece that has armor regen when bleeding an enemy, together with Hunters fury which amplifies damage at close range for SMG damage, just roll a couple bleed protection pieces to give some survivability, also bleed does not proc while having bonus armor, so using talents that build bonus armor while bleed takes it down, it also doesn't take from your regular white armor, so your essentially lessening its after effect. So building bonus armor and having bleed protection, plus exotic to heal during bleeds means your essentially cancelling its effect as long as you your killing enemys.
The Eagle Bearer definitely has more damage but it very unstable imo (Xbox). I ran that exact build with both weapons and I definitely prefer the St Elmos. I had to tweak the build by adding more stabilty (3 piece Striker, 2 Piece Feneris & NinjaBike) for me to actually get headshots....... ST Elmos FTW
Left for verdansk COD 3 years ago during lockdown...Came back 3 days ago. Seeing peoples SHD at 5000, mine is 67 last night LoL. My builds are awful now as well. Forgot how to put stuff like obliterate on weapons or do i have to grind for a weapon with that on and put it across to my EB etc.
Because more Crit DMG. I don't need ceska because I have Coyote and I will be over capping my crit chance and fenris gives Weapon DMG which is a bit less DPS.

Why not? Ninja does unlocks a lot of different fun setups. It's definitely a viable option when comes to armor on kill builds. I still use it for some quick CP4 clears with directives. Momento just takes the shine away from anything and it's been like this for years. But hey if you want to be different and enjoy something fun and don't care about meta then absolutely do that. I do it myself :)

the game only caters for multiplayer--- i only play pve and getting an exotic is rare very rare and ive only ever got 2 weapons, its a shit game if you only play pve
Actually you get more exotics from PVE and pretty much everything from PVE. It's been 2yrs for me now since the last time I went in Conflict or DZ. So I have to disagree on that sorry. If you need exotics just do your projects daily and weekly also we get Global Events and Leagues throughout the seasons and not to mention the season exclusive exotics are in the season reward tracks. And then there is Countdown :)

try bighorn as a close and personal weapon, stacking headshots and keeping buff is super easy, the dmg is just shy off the capacitor.

My EB did not upgrade from T20, neither did my ELMOS what do I do?

All red build with ninja bike, Piccaros, technician specialisation and capacitor….thats a lot of base damage! Plus the DTOC and DTA!

It's Normal but it gains the Accuracy when firing.

You should try Backfire It's a death wish beast at full stack I hit 1 bullet with 2.9 mil, you die fast with the bleed but with a good healer you live

Why obliterate vs strikers chest? No Fox or contractors?
200 stacks on Strikers chest is hard to get. Everything is dead long before you reach full stack. I run obliterate with Fenris or Groupo on the chest.
